Copeland Cabin - Charming 4-Bedroom Lake House in the Adirondacks

Make yourself at home in this lakefront Adirondack retreat. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, or just relaxing during the day, and barbeque or sit around the fire in the evening. This cozy house on beautiful Copeland Pond has stunning lake view from both floors of the house and is perfect for families, groups of friends, or a romantic get-away. You will have your own private lake front with kayaks, a canoe, trampoline, and row boat. The lake is perfect for swimming and fishing in the summer, ice skating, cross country skiing and hiking in the winter. The house has a well-equipped kitchen, four bedrooms (one with two bunk beds) and two full baths. Conveniences include (good) WiFi, air conditioning, and a washer and dryer.

While the location is private and serene, the house is only minutes from local attractions such as Lake George Village, hiking, mini-golf, go-carts, outlets, the Great Escape (and several other fun parks), restaurants, farmers markets, distilleries, a winery, and more.

You're sure to make fantastic memories. It is a truly special place.

Great trip

Parking is limited for larger vehicles. We have a 4x4 Truck, which caused some issues; however once we were able get assistance from the office we were satisfied with the resolution. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Great View

Overall stay was great. Had to reclean the room ourselves. Floors was not clean, ice maker broke on us, and drains would not drain. Property managers got back to me in a timely fashion, however nothing to accommodate.

Elegant Condo with Amazing Views

This condo was exactly as described with a stunning view, super comfortable and all the amenities it describes. We do not have any complaints and we’re very happily surprised that every single room had a beautiful view.

April 2023 Stay

1401 Condo was clean and we had everything we needed as usual. Location is always awesome. I was very disappointed in the construction going on due to the following: 1. Workers wanting access and working off our balcony at 8:45 Friday morning. 2. Constant noise starting at 7-8am. 3. Limited ground parking due to construction material and workers vehicles occupying guest parking spots. 4. We could see workers working outside our window on scaffolding throughout the day. We did receive a 15% credit on condo but it wasn't enough due to the daily inconvenience of construction work going on. I took pictures to validate my issues. I will stay at Island Towers again as long as there's no construction going on.

Good Family Getaway

The property was great and exactly as described. We were able to comfortably have 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 15-5) stay in the condo and not feel like we were on top of each other. The only negative was there was construction and building updates going on during our stay.

Gulf Shores amazing beach vacation!

Wonderful condo

Amazing views of the beach from both balconies and large loving room windows. Loved that all 3 bedrooms had King size beds and separate bathrooms. Easy check-in and condo was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Island Tower 8/22

Great rental! Only downside is parking. Very limited for trucks, Suburbans, etc. had to park down street in public parking lot one night. Communication with Rental management was prompt, accurate and convenient. Highly recommend!

Decent stay

There were some cleanliness issues, and the furniture and fixtures were in rough shape. One elevator was broken down when we arrived, but that isn’t the fault of the owner. The view and location are incredible and beach access was great.

Great views from all balconies!

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was mostly as it appears in the pictures (there were a few cosmetic things - like a crack in the ceiling, and a wooden patch on the balcony, but nothing that affected our ability to use or enjoy the space) the views are better than they appear in the photos. We had no issues and really liked being so near the beach. I had a little trouble finding where the trash went and when I called the number someone answered right away and was super helpful. Overall, it worked perfectly for what we wanted. Thanks so much!

Fantastic visit!

We were in golf Shores for my daughters beach volleyball tournament. This condo was the perfect location and the perfect size for five adults. Everything was very clean and organized, and the beds were very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again!

The condo was beautiful and just as advertised but there were cockroaches in the condo.

We had a great vacation and everything was just as advertised but we found cockroaches in the condo. I texted the property manager this info and the response was "will let house keeping know". Not - Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! What can we do to help? That's horrible! - Nope, nothing. I'm hoping we aren't bringing any home with us in our things.

Perfect spot! Very easy to get around. Pools are beautiful.

We loved this condo! The view was breathtaking. Said no pass code for wifi but needed one. Listed a sauna but no key for it or workout room. Wasn't busy. Only 1 elevator working but never waited very long. Most definitely would stay again.

Good times

Great property, Women are for three couples to have their own space and then come together as they like. There was only one elevator running the entire week that we were there and that made it a bit difficult because there were so many people. But the condo itself was good.

I (Lisa) grew up near Copeland Cabin and have wonderful memories of family gatherings and adventures with friends on the many lakes in the area. I am a recent empty nester who loves yoga, my dog, and gardening. I have lived in 3 countries, travelled to 60 of them, and find the Adirondack mountains and lakes to be among the most beautiful places on earth. My friend Catherine is helping to manage the property. She is a lovely person, a realtor in the area who knows everything and everyone, and is a great resource for visitors.

Why they chose this property

While the lake is tranquil and private, the house is very close to the many trails and mountains around Lake George, You will be 15 mins from Lake George Village, the Great Escape, outlet shopping, and more. Not to mention the cool little local restaurants, a distillery, and (of course) local farmers markets. In the winter, you are 45 mins from Gore or Killington Mountains, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, and ice skating are all options right on the frozen pond and surrounding trails.

What makes this property unique

When I first saw the cabin, I knew it was the perfect spot. Copeland is a private pond, serene and beautiful. The house is cozy and warm with all the authentic character of an Adirondack "camp". (If you aren't sure what that means, please Google it - an Adirondack camp is a distinct type of place!) The property offers some privacy, as the lot is larger than most, and the dock and entire waterfront are for your exclusive enjoyment.
