Important this home is not lakefront, but the lake is directly behind the property and easy accessible via short private path or quick golf cart ride – all on the same property. Private access includes a private dock slip and kayaks. Adirondack chairs at the water, swim area and peaceful shoreline settings. Everything is just steps away no driving required. The home provides four bedrooms three baths and sleeps 10 comfortably 1700 ft.² in a pet friendly home. The open living and dining area is perfect for gathering after a day at the lake. the fully equipped kitchen makes family meals easy, and the game room keeps kids entertained. Outside there’s a large private yard a fire pit for evening s’mores a gas grill and outdoor dining space and plenty of parking around the peaceful Cleverdale setting. Relax in your Adirondack chair while enjoying coffee on the deck or head down to the dock for a sunset over Lake George. Beautiful quiet house

The stay was amazing, house is beautiful and very well constructed, our stay was peaceful the house is spacious and accommodating! The hosts were super friendly and helpful for anyone's needs, the house was fully stocked with all the linens and towels we could need and even a little present of s'mores from the owner would definitely stay again anytime!!!

Lovely stay!

We enjoyed our family week at this lovely home! There was room to spread out, and yet, be together. Features like the game garage, nice walking property for the dogs, screened porch, and of course the water access with many kayaks were what they promised to be. Definitely recommend this home, in a peaceful area which is nearby LG and other ADK destinations.

Best Family Vacation Ever

The property was a perfect fit for all eight of us. We very much appreciated the cooperation of the property manager (Wendy) who helped us with great restraint suggestions and was available whenever needed. Excellent accommodations and surroundings. The kids especially loved the game room and we all enjoyed every bit of our stay.

50th Anniversary

My husband and I treated our family to this trip. It was the best place for all 9 of us. 6 Adults and 3 Teenagers. Check in was a breeze and the kitchen facilities were very good. The garage with all the games was truly wonderful as we spent a lot of evenings outside with everyone joining in. Any questions we had, Wendy responded immediately. Bedrooms were very comfortable and we are definitely looking forward to another stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this Lake George home! The house was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. Its location was ideal—just a quick drive to Lake George Village, yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The general store at the end of the street became our go-to breakfast spot every morning.The walk from the house to the dock is quick and easy. We brought our 22-foot boat and the private dock worked perfectly. Since the dock is tucked into a cove, our boat stayed well-protected from wind and rough water. Overall, it was the perfect setup for both relaxation and enjoying time on the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Lake George - July 2022

The house at Lake George was beautiful! It was even nicer than the impression I got from the pictures online. There was lots of room for our family of ten. We really liked that there was so many household products already available at the house. The owners were quick to respond to our minor needs. We loved that there were two canoes and six kayaks available for our use. All ten of us were able to go out on the lake at the same time. The only downfall is that the house is not directly on the lake. We knew this before coming but if we went to Lake George again, I think we would prefer to have a house on the lake so that we could enjoy the views.

Loved this place! Gorgeous impeccably maintained grounds, great inlet spot for a boat. Had 2 families here and never felt crowded. Very clean, spacious, private yet steps away from the wonderful Cleverdale market. Would stay again.

Peaceful retreat, Great location

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home. We had a big group of two families. The home was nicely decorated, well stocked, clean and spacious enough for us all. We had our own dock for the boat and it is conveniently located by a gas station. You can swim off the dock or take a short boat ride to Sandy Bay. The amazing hosts were kind and attentive. We had such a great experience we are considering coming back in the winter.

Good stay for Thanksgiving Holiday.

This property is very well maintained and exceeded expectations. Extremely clean and comfortably fits a larger family. The house provided us with a perfect space to enjoy Thanksgiving with our family. The game room in the garage was a nice bonus for the kids but was being used for outdoor furniture storage during the winter months. The only negative aspect, for future renters, is the homeowner lives across the street and will pay attention / monitor your activities which made us somewhat uncomfortable during our visit. Overall, we were pleased with the property and would consider staying here again.

Perfect Location and Perfect House

This house is perfectly located. It's close enough to the action but far enough away for peace and quiet. The house was very clean and neatly organized. Each room had its own AC unit, NOT window units, which allowed each room to select their own comfort levels. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. The game room located in the exterior garage allowed us to kill some time while everyone got ready to go on the lake. There is a little corner store located within walking distance for every and any items that you need or might have forgotten including gasoline. There is a large Shopping Center about 10 15 minutes south where you can stock up on supplies. The driveway is very large which allowed us to park our boat trailer there. The homeowners provided us with s'mores kits and plenty of firewood for the fire pit. The dock was also perfectly located in a nice quiet Cove away from all the heavy boat traffic but only about a 10-15 minute drive to town. The dock is also located right next to a boat marina so fueling up was very easy. The fuel at the fuel dock is 0% ethanol a little expensive but perfect for a boat. We had an excellent time there for the week that we stayed. We wish the weather was a little bit warmer but you can't control Mother Nature. My one and only minor complaint was the water pressure which is understandable when you have a septic system. We hope to come back here again in the near future.

Unexpected charming vacation house

We booked the home and expected to have a nice vacation home. But “WOW” was the first word when we entered the house. It is not a huge mansion, but every corner is utilized to provide different functions and can easily accommodate 10 people, and provide privacy for each group. It is so nicely designed that gives you a very spacious feel. The sun/screen room with the large deck is a great combination for the summer hangout. Google map gives a wrong address so it’s confusing, but it’s very close so you will get there. The house is not directly facing to the lake, but the land is lake front. It has nice dock and kayaks, The kids really enjoyed the the golf cart rides. My kids asked me to come back for a whole week next month. Overall it’s a nice location, and the house is even much nicer than what the pictures show.

Girls weekend

Our girls weekend was amazing at this beautiful house. It was such a unique and well decorated house. We would have loved to stay longer. We were amazed at how much the house offered! The owners were right across the street if we needed them and seemed very sweet! Can’t wait to come back soon!

Thanksgiving trip

The house was beautiful and clean, and the area really nice. However, we had an unpleasant experience towards the end and after our stay. The owner complained that we damaged the yard, using the golf cart. In the description of the property it is clearly stated that the cart can be used to drive to the docks. The only way to accomplish that would be to drive the cart through the field. We were never told to not use the cart on the field. As for the yard, the grass was in a very poor condition when we arrived. Actually, it was mostly weed with several large patches of mud. After we left, we received 2 invoices from the owner, one for damage to the cart (including such items as starter belt, drive belt, and secondary clutch!!!) and one for the yard. When we left, the cart was in perfect working condition, and certainly we caused no damage that would require such parts. As for the yard, given that this yard was mostly weeds and mud, there was no significant damage from our use, as we told the owner towards the end of the visit. We do not recommend this property to anybody after this experience.

Beautiful place and great location

Wow what a great house and property! So much fun to have a golf cart to ride the very short distance to the lake (which is on the property). Fully equipped, lovely mountain home. Kids would really love it here—the garage has been converted to a game room full of fun. Lots of room to spread out and do your own thing. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return!

Relaxing family getaway

I stayed here with my mother, sisters, dog, and infant nephew. Great spot for us to take a break from all of the 2020 craziness. Cool game room in the garage. Big tables for family dinners and game nights. Beautiful area. Nice firepit. Comfy Beds. My only wishlist item would be a shower downstairs instead of the tub as my aging mother has issues with the stairs.

The property is on waterfront but the house is not. No water view from the house.

The house is clean and offers a lot of entertainment and areas to spread out the family. The property has a very big and beautiful lawn. But there is no water view from the house. The water access is far from the house. You would need to take a small hike or drive the golf cart. The water access area is very small and you can not swim and there is no sandy area for kids to play. It is a good place to launch the kayak and paddle boat, which were provided including life vests. There is a dock slip and you can dock your boat which is good. The communication with the owner was smooth and pleasant during our stay. She was very helpful when we had questions and issues are addressed immediately. However, after we checked out she complains about we did not leave the property clean including one candy wrapper and dirty towels on the floor. However, we had paid cleaning fees and it was never communicated that we should clean the property on the day we are checking out. She also complained about some unwarranted and minor damages, such as a washable chocolate stain on a white towel, a burned kitchen towel, clean linens fell off from shelf in kid's room closet, a lamp cover fell off, a scratch on the table (which was already there) and a broken small decoration stools needing a nail, and etc. If there was truly a damage, it could handle more professionally including filing an insurance claim. It left a very unpleasant memory at the end. We had been renting for 6/7 years never encounter such unpleasant surprise at the end. Because of the above two reasons, we would not rent the property again.
