Beachfront condo for 6 people. Cozy apartment on 9th floor with 2 rooms, 2 baths, main guest hall and complete kitchen , security 24x7.

Main room with private bath, secondary room with 2 individual beds with common bathroom.

This nice property is just off the beach, the pool is amazing!. There is a beautiful landscaped garden with meandering pathways to a BBQ area, pool, beach, Isla Mujeres and Hotel Zone. You will be secure behind a guarded gate, with constantly patrolling security personnel. Property features a private beach, and is within minutes of downtown or the Hotel Zone. There is a Superama Wal-Mart about 5 kms and a Mexican traditional food & fruit market just 3 blocks away. Convenience store across the street and several beachfront restaurants just minutes down the road.

The ferry terminal is a half a block away too! This is a fantastic location for reaching within 10 minutes every interesting place in Cancun!

Perfect Apartment. Nice panoramic view

The Apartment was perfect, just as the pics describe it. Feel like home and more. ( Giant pool right next to the caribbean sea ) Beautiful Panoramic view to the bay. Perfect size for cooking, having a breakfast, watching tv at night. Nice shower. Even in a hot day, I didn't turn on the air conditioner, just open the 2 big windows right next to the balcony and the little window at the other side next to the kitchen and you have a strong flow. neat. 5 minutes walking to the Ferry to Isla Mujeres. Rogeiro was such a nice person to show me the apartment and the pool. Definetly I'll come back.

Nice vacation spot for 5 weeks

We enjoyed our time from the welcome snacks and drinks, to our many days around the pool, to a well equipped kitchen to make our own meals, to relaxing nights in the condo. It had plenty of room for 2 couples, it was in a good location so we could walk to the ferry to Isla Majeres, or catch a local bus downtown or to the hotel zone. We were here for 5 weeks and had no problem with getting around or managing with our limited Spanglish. Rogiero helped us out when we had a problem with a TV and the microwave by replacing them both. We met many nice people around the pool including some friendly Canadians who happened to know some people that we also knew. The ocean was rather rocky and weedy so we didn't swim much in the ocean but the pool was very nice. Waking up to the view each day was a real pleasure. I would stay in this same unit and recommend it to others.

Poorly maintained property

We rented this condo for the month of August and had many problems with the condition of the condo. The location and the pool are great!!! We enjoyed many hours at the pool and the property is nice. The beach is OK but not a great place to swim due to the seaweed. Upon arrival the sofas were filthy and Rogeiro had them cleaned quickly. The main plug in the kitchen didn’t work and never was repaired. The problem was to plug everything into ONE inconvenient location. The hot water on demand didn’t work so we took cold showers for a month… They did try and have this repaired but it only worked when it wanted too. Rogeiro said it’s supposed to be like that… LOL New technology called No hot water on demand, or hot water on demand for 3 minutes. There was a tropical storm and the rain was blowing into the apartment by the bucket. I was up half the night moping. They said its happens. The next day I noticed that almost all the condos have a hurricane steel shutter that winds down over the windows. Last it took over a month to have my deposit refunded, as they had to collect for the electricity. In summery the apartment is nice but needs attention and maintenance

Great Week in Cancun!

We really enjoyed our time staying at the condo in Cancun. The condo is conveniently located within walking distance to the ferry to Isla Murejes as well as close to the fruit and veggie outdoor market. The condo is clean and well kept. Nice to have a a washer and dryer as well. Rogeiro met us at the condo, gave us some excellent tips and suggestions for nice restaurants and was very accommodating. The beach is not the best but we were able to go for short walks along the beach when the tide was out. The pool area is great and it is nice to have a snack bar that will serve drinks and food around the pool. Overall a nice week and we would consider staying at the condo again.

Excellent Host....

It's too bad that I can't rate the owner separately from the property. Rogeiro was VERY responsive to our needs and went over the top to make us comfortable. 5 Stars for sure. The property itself is very nicely kept. The common areas are cleaned daily, there are gardeners working every morning, and there are security guards everywhere. The pool is beautiful and the small on-site restaurant is cheap with mediocre food. For the US traveler that is not fluent in Spanish, there are challenges with this location. I could find no security or staff that spoke English - except in the restaurant. There is no lobby area or concierge. If you are coming to Mexico to walk the beautiful beaches and be pampered in the luxury of the Hotel Zone - this isn't for you. This is a very quiet location that appears popular with the locals. Right outside the main gate, is a small convenience store that has many of the items you may need. Otherwise, Walmart is 50-80 pesos away by taxi. This area has no beach to speak of - not even within walking distance. You will have to drive (not recommended) or take a taxi from here - buses do not run in this area. You have to walk out of the complex and hail a taxi to either take you to a public beach or to the bus stops for the Hotel Zone. Print a copy of the Hotel Zone public beaches - I would recommend Choc Mool. If you don't know what to look for, you would walk right past the public access. They are small and hidden among the buildings. Cost is 50-80 pesos to bus stops and 200+ pesos to hotel zone. If you take a bus into/out of the Hotel Zone it is 10.5 pesos per person. Taxis from the Hotel Zone to the condo are MUCH more expensive. I recommend you take a bus out of the Hotel Zone and then cab it to the condo. Buses are very crowded during certain times, so you may have to wait a while for one or stand in a crowded bus. Taxis and buses drive CRAZY here, but you get used to it. There are cops everywhere in the Hotel Zone + CRAZY drivers = non-recommended to rent a car. There were a few issues with the condo upon arrival, but Rogeiro was very apologetic and responded immediately with a plumber to rectify them. I cannot say enough about Rogeiro - he was wonderful.

Great location

This condo is great just perfect for the 4 of us. The owners Rachel and Rogeiro are very nice and easy to work with! it has everything we need , feel like home away from home: wifi, washer, dryer and nice beach towers. The ground around the complex is really nice and the swimming pool is clean, big and beautiful . It has a swim-up bar.. Don't forget to take a ferry to Isla Mujeres, it's quite and has beautiful beaches (ferry is a very close to the condo) we went Playa del Carmen and Tulum. We had a great time there!

Great accommodation with spectacular views

Great accommodations with spectacular views. Rogeiro and Raquel are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The condo is clean and well equipped. The property is also very clean and well maintained. The pool is huge and great for kids as there is no really deep end. Our only dissapoinment with the property was the beach. The condo doesn't maintain the beach and it wouldn't take much for the staff to clean it each morning and maybe supply it with some beach chairs which would make a huge difference for its tenants. The condo next door does maintain their beach and we hung out there but were told we couldn't use their beach chairs.

Excellent location

The apartment was just great, with a really nice view, quiet and safe. The flat is completely furnitured, kitchen equipped, Wi-Fi, laundry... We had lunch one day at the restaurant and food was tasty at a real good price. Swimming pool quiet and really big even for some excersising. It was the perfect option for one week stay because we could combine the apartment and all services as well as moving around the whole Riviera Maya, Tulum, Cozumel... Ferry for Isla Mujeres is just 5 min walk. I really recommend this apartment for either short or long stay... Thank you Rogeiro and Raquel for your time and full support during our stay! Regards Alex

Like a second home!

We stayed in the apartment for 1 month (myself my parents and my two kids) - we are definitely coming back next year! The apartment was clean, nicely furnished and definetly well equipped. Rogeiro and his lovely wife were so accommodating and really helped making our stay extremely comfortable. The view from the dining/living room and the balcony is amazing and when the wind outside it's really strong it lullabies you to sleep. The elevators are fast and you never have to wait long for it. The staff in the resort (security etc) are very friendly and helpful. Having wi-fi in the apartment and the resort itself was a big plus. Pool was always clean and never busy and hardly anyone on the beach which is a dream come true in Cancun! Seriously - I only have great things to say and cannot wait to go back! But Rogeiro - maybe think about buying a small dishwasher for the apartment... my mom would be eternally grateful!

Wonderful Family Vacation

My kids and I vacationed at this condo last winter, for a nice Christmas vacation. Rogeiro was very helpful from the point of contact until the end of the trip. When we arrived, Rogeiro met us at the condo. He was very personable and easy to talk to. There was a welcome basket with fruit, water and a couple other snacks, which was great to come into after the long travel. He informed me of the a Walmart in the area, but it is definitely not walking distance. We didn't rent a car, but he offered to drive us there so we could get groceries for the week. He patiently waited while I shopped with my kids and drove us back. The fruit and vegetable stand was awesome and only about a half mile walk from the condo. I walked there almost every day. And the prices can't be beat. There is also a quick food place by the fruit and vegetable stand. I think they call them corridas. Anyways, you can get a meal for less than $5 of some really delicious, authentic Mexican food, which I prefer to the more expensive Americanized food in the hotel zone. The condo is a ways from the hotel zone, which I loved because I like to experience culture and think it's important for my kids to experience, too. It is very close to the ferry to go to Isla Mujeres (about a block), which has amazing beaches to swim in and I recommend everyone to spend at least one day at. The beach outside the condo isn't one that I would recommend swimming in because I think the current pushes some debris and stuff in it. But that didn't bother me because the pool was great. I know some people mention that if you want to go to the hotel zone you either need a car or take a cab. I was fortunate to have a friend who lives in Cancun and showed me how to take the bus, and it is really easy. The stop is across the street and a little bit passed the convenience store, going towards the ferry, but not as far down. If you get on it, it takes you to the hotel zone and is super cheap. This is the locals form of transportation and you will likely not have anyone who speaks anything other Spanish. But honestly, you can get on if you are a little more adventurous, and not know Spanish, and you will know when you are in the Hotel Zone. I definitely would stay there again and recommend it to most people.

PARADISE!

Wonderful !!. Is a very quiet place to rest, relax and enjoy. I fully recommend it. The appartment is very clean, modern equiped, comfortable and the view of the sea was truly wonderful from the balcony. The pool área was really nice. Perfect location, really central for going on excursión and not forget the nearest ferry service to Isla Mujeres. Thanks for a great time in Cancun. We just enjoyed our stay there and would love to come back next time.

Amazing!

My friends and I absolutely loved this condo. Its location was perfect, right on the beach and very close to the ferry to Isla Mujeres. The pool and palapas were gorgeous too, and not crowded at all. The condo itself was also beautiful, very clean and tidy. The owner also greeted us at the condo when we arrived to give us a tour of his place. He is the nicest person ever. He offered us food and beverages after our travel, and provided suggestions for activities, restaurants, nightlife, etc. Overall, amazing vacation. Would definitely book this condo again. Oh, and very reasonably priced! I would recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit Cancun.

Cancun home

We have been coming to Cancun for over 25 years and I believe we have finally found a home. The property is very attractive, clean and secure. The apartment on the 9 th floor gave a great view of the ocean and hotel zone lights at night.There is a small restaurant next to the pool with good prices and poolside service. The owners were so gracious and available to answer questions or address problems. It is located away from the hectic Hotel Zone but a bus ride for $1 will get you easily to Walmart, the Hotel Zone malls or downtown restaurants. We have already booked for next year!

we enjoyed the condo very much and the place was safe. Too bad they did not clean the Beach during our stay (1month). The americano cafe we had every morning at the amara Resto was delicioux! Great Apartment

The condo was great, clean, modern and spacious with amazing views. Good location although not right in the city centre but you are a short taxi ride away. We had no problems during our stay here, the staff at the complex are friendly and the people I booked the condo with were really helpful and they left us some snacks for when we arrived. Wow, what a view ! Our 2 young boys had a blast in the beautiful pool.

Owner was very professional and kind, even left snacks and fruit available to us View of the beach was the best I have seen in all my travels, modern, safe, clean with 24/7 gated security. Pool was huge and outstanding ! Our 2 boys had a blast ! Restaurant was also a nice bonus that is onsite. Owners are very kind genuine people who go out of their way to make sure you are happy. A+++

It was a family vacation in a beautiful PH with a great view, getting around was very easy even if the hotel zone was a bit aways. We took a taxi to plaza 2000 for a few bucks then took the city bus to the hotel zone, was very quick and safe. eating areas around the plaza 2000 Is less expensive then the hotel zone. Planning another family vacation for 2015 .The listing and the description was accurate regarding location and the listing photos accurately reflect the rental's appearance and amenities. Convenient apartment with a great oceanview

We had an excellent time in Rogerio's place! The apartment is comfortable for at least 5 people and has a great view to the pool and the ocean. The complex has a very nice pool and places for BBQ. The location is convenient. It’s a 10 min walk to the ferry station to go to Isla Mujeres. It’s also close to Walmart and other shopping centers! The apartment provided the basics we needed for cooking and Rogerio brought us BBQ equipments that we asked for. Rogerio is a great host, very nice, friendly, and extremely helpful with planning our stay in Cancun! We highly recommend this place :)

Incredible view

The apartment is fully equiped, extremly clean and comfortable. The complex is very quiet and neat. The view from the main room and living room/balcony is incredible. Well located, close to grocery store, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend it for a nice relaxing vacation.

A Wonderful Department!!!

Firstable, it is important to said that the owner is very involved and willing to offer the best service; kind, warm and with a great disposition. The department is really comfortable and exceeds our expectations. It has an excellent location, a wonderful view and has everything you need for an unforgettable holidays. Completely clean and in very good condition, everything works fine. Great to go for rest because it is in a quiet area, next to UltraMar, a place where the ferries depart to Isla Mujeres. The best vacation

The apartment was so beautiful and comfortable ;) it the was exactly the same as the pictures showed. Everything was cleaned, the view was the most amazing thing. The location where the apartment is the best, quiet area, close to the ferry to go to Isla Mujeres (the best place to go), grocery stores, etc. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends and I'm thinking of coming back next year. If you're looking for a relaxing stay this is the best option.

One word: Amazing!

Everything about this property is amazing - beginning with the helpful, kind, and welcoming owners. They helped us arrange activities and transportation prior to our arrival and were so kind as to meet us at the condo the day we arrived with fresh fruit and snacks! The views are amazing - we would spend hours just gazing....watching both sunrises and sunsets from our floor. The staff of Amara are extremely professional and helpful and keep the grounds immaculate and we enjoyed greeting the many iguanas of the gardens each day. The condo itself was ideal and exactly how described and pictured. We had no worries letting our teens go the pool or gym or beach alone. Beach sand is like cool velvet on your toes! Short cab ride to Hotel Zone and excursions, but it was so nice to return to the peace of our condo. We have two young teens and wanted a Cancun vacation that would be both fun for them and relaxing for us - we enjoyed 10 days of this perfection combination in paradise and plan to return! Perfect for families with small children as pool is zero depth and very shallow. Also great for large family gatherings - the poolside palapas are great for parties of all kinds.

Vacation condo in quiet area but close to fun things

The owner of the condo was extremely helpful and very nice. Picked us up at the airport for a small fee and delivered us to the condo to get settled in. (And again when our daughter and family arrived) Gave lots of suggestions regarding sights, restaurants etc. The condo was nicely done, clean and well supplied. Felt safe both in and out of complex - gated with lots of security. Buses/taxis easily available on the street. Pool was incredible and great for kids. Beach was somewhat disappointing as lots of seaweed piled up. View was spectacular. Close to an archeological site "El Meco" and short ride to Mayan Museum in the hotel zone, shopping and centro. Small convenience store across the street. Nice restaurant on the water approx 1 km. past the complex. Very close to island ferry and the pirate ships dock. Felt the owner was very trustworthy and easy to deal with. Always available for any problems and was able to arrange anything extra we might want/need.
