The host is very friendly and very helpful. There were a few things that the house could’ve used in the kitchen area in particular that would’ve made this stay a more pleasant (cookie sheets; cake pan etc; extra plates and silverware). Also, there was not a grill to grill hotdogs or hamburgers as you would expect at a lakefront property.However, that being said the view from the place was very peaceful and the beds are comfortable. Overall, it was a very nice stay and we would visit again.

Had I known you were having multiple family members visit, I would have provided additional supplies as done with your other requests. Why they chose this property

I grew up on Dumont LakeI and one of my properties belonged to my great-grandfather. I love that it is an all-sports lake, but it stays quiet. The sunrises are spectacular over the lake if you are an early riser! The willows on the lake are on of my inspirations.

What makes this property unique

This property is on a private-drive and the neighbors are wonderful. It's also quiet and secluded but a quick drive to South Haven, Saugatuck, Holland or the bigger cities of Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. Sister property next door is under a complete renovation, but will be available mid-June for larger parties!
