We had a great stay at the cabin. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed walking around the property and rolling around in all the snow. The place was clean and easy to check into. The hot tub was a great addition as well. Would definitely stay here again

Adorable cottage on a cozy lake. My wife and I enjoyed lounging on the various decks and wandering down to the water to paddle around in the kayaks.

We loved this property for our family getaway. The house was clean and the multiple decks provided spaces for everything we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the enclosed deck with our toddler and dog! The hot tub was an added bonus. We loved being away in the quiet yet close to Lake Michigan and all the other attractions nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

can’t recommend this place highly enough! property was even better in person, and the location was stunning. we spent most of our time on-site, but enjoyed the close proximity to several beach towns. amenities were great, and we particularly enjoyed the hot tub, private dock/boats, and the fire pit. we were super impressed by the cleanliness and the attention to even the smallest detail (it was so nice arriving to full trays of ice and a selection of coffee pods!). no issues during our stay, but reached out to the host with a couple of questions and got prompt and thorough responses every time. hoping we can stay here again someday - it was a wonderful experience!

Ya like mouse droppings, chewed up food & mice running through the kitchen to the living room? Then this is the place to go! This place has a bad mouse problem. The first morning we woke up there were mouse droppings all over the kitchen cupboards as well as wrapped food on one counter was chewed through with shreds of paper & droppings. We notified the owners right away & they messaged back Their response was "Oh no, I guess they can't resist the fun house too haha". Right before bed that night we saw a mouse run from the kitchen into the living room where we were watching TV. We messaged the owners again first thing in the morning when we found fresh droppings on the cupboards, in the pans in the cupboards, windowsill as well as by the toaster and the mice had chewed through he plastic strainer in the kitchen sink.. We immediately let the owners know & left 3 hours early we were so grossed out. They did apologize then asked if we had photos. Of course we didn't go around taking photos, never thought to do that, why should we. Then the kicker is, they messaged & said that when they cleaned yesterday they found no evidence of what we said, everything looked fine. That is totally false! It would have been one thing if they had come over with mouse traps, bait etc when we first notified them, but to just make a joke, that is terrible customer service. For these reasons, we do not recommend staying here.

Perfect place for a getaway

My girlfriend and I are small business owners and have been going non stop for a year and a half and needed a few days to do absolutely nothing and this was the perfect location to go off grid and just be still. It was so quiet and the house was just the perfect size for us. The hot tub was nice and we used the paddleboat while we were there. Having breakfast out on the front porch with nature was the perfect setting to start the day. We wanted to go somewhere where we wouldn't be bothered and this was perfect. We read books, napped, watched tv (which we never do), went for walks, watched the sunset on the porch, had a nice fire in the firepit and just enjoyed each other's attention. Perfect getaway. Communication from the owner was quick and pleasant. Will be staying again hopefully sooner than another year and a half.
