Birch Court Cottage was a lovely place to stay while visiting family. In a quiet, scenic neighborhood, the cottage offered lake access and privacy. Adam was the perfect host, checking in with us from time to time (but not too often, to make sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

Great stay and very accommodating. Mattresses could use an upgrade but other than that everything was perfect. Very beautiful property and home with the lake for kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Had things on hand that we didn’t pack such as aluminum foil, laundry soap, etc. truly made the stay stress free. Thank you!

This property was perfect for our family weekend to celebrate an out of town wedding. Us and our 4 adult children enjoyed the updated clean house, swam and floated on the dock, played cornhole, grilled and enjoyed a bonfire. The commutation was great with the host and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly when we did see passerbys. Highly recommend and would love to go stay again.

Nice getaway

We needed a restful place to stay for a week. This fit the bill. It is on a quiet part of the beautiful lake. The accomodations were nice and clean.

The home was the cleanest of any rentals we have ever had. We would have enjoyed it much more if it had not rained the entire time and we had to leave 2 days early due to a family emergency, but it was a lovely stay for the three days we were there. Everything you can think of is provided!! It was very well equipped and so clean! The only issue was the bed was a little hard and short for my husband and very low to the floor, and the couch was a bit too small for an over 6 foot man but anyone shorter would have no trouble. The lake is beautiful even though we only had about 3 hours in three days without rain to get outside to enjoy it! We could have definitely used a TV or radio during our stay as we were unable to enjoy the lake at all due to the constant rain. But otherwise, everything was lovely and the view is the best!! Great host and answered all inquires promptly. We would definitely stay there again in better weather!!

Great holiday retreat

We had a great time with our teens and family at the cottage. Clean property that was well socked (even had coffee filters, TP, paper towel). Just be aware that there is no microwaves—we had to adjust some meals accordingly once we realized this so want others to know.

Amazing Lake house!

We loved this place - so quiet mid week. Weekends on the lake were busy and fun. Our daughter was with us for one night and she loved swimming in the lake, paddleboarding and the chair hammock. One of us worked remotely and the accommodations were nice. Beds were nice, neighbors friendly, internet fine. No TV but we were fine with that. The Allegan community was super friendly and welcoming. We LOVE the smaller side of the lake and peaceful mornings with lake swans.
