The apartment has been painstakingly renovated by an award winning architect and builder with beautiful finishes and furnishings. Pride of ownership and attention to detail is very apparent.

Please see our photos, current on-line availability calendar and rates for more information. Best suited for two guests maximum. There is also a pull out queen sleeper sofa in the Living Room for one or possibly two small children.

South Haven Walkable and Wonderful

Loved our stay! I brought my daughter to SH for a quick trip and we loved how accessible this spot is to everything - beach, park, town, pier, etc. We will definitely be back!

50th Anniversary trip

We have stayed at this property numerous times. The owner is easy to communicate with. The property is very clean and the location is an easy walk to downtown or South Beach. We rode our bikes to Van Buren State Park right from property via the easy tofollow bike trails.

Perfect stay!

This was the absolute perfect place to stay for our first time in South Haven! The location couldn't be better - so close to the water, all the boats, the beach, the downtown. We walked everywhere! We have stayed at this property several times. Location is fantastic, easy walk to downtown and the beach. Easy access to the bike trails. Michael does a great job communicating check in and check out instructions. Very clean.

It seems with most beach towns in Southwest Michigan, if you stay at the beach, you have to drive in to town. Conversely, if you stay in town, you have to drive to the beach. South Haven offers the ability to walk to both. The South Beach and downtown area are only a short three block walk from the Michiana. Life is good and the living is easy!

Why they chose this property

The Michiana was originally built in the late 1800s as a large single family home. It was then converted into four apartments consisting of two, two bedroom apartments and two, one bedroom apartments. Since we purchased the property, we have made a significant investment of both time and resources to update the building and individual apartments. We feel we have retained the original architectural character while providing most of today's modern conveniences. While the location is incredible, we also love the charm of the place itself. It says 'Home'!

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the easy access to the South Beach as well as the less than five minute walk to downtown South Haven. Once the groceries are purchased, there is no need for your car again. We have said it so many times but it is true... once you come to South Haven, it feels as though all of life's struggles seem to be lifted. We hope you are able to experience the same feeling.
Also... this apartment is located in the same building as our other listing: vrbo 343005 which is right next door! This adds two additional bedrooms and one additional bath. A great set up for additional friends and family. The more the merrier!!!
