This property is beautiful. The setting is serene and we saw a ton of wildlife, including deer and foxes. There is plenty of room for a large party, and there are some really nice touches in this home. A unique home that is fantastic for hide and seek, cooking meals and having lovely family time. We enjoyed our time here and made many memories that will be cherished.

The house itself was beautiful, but it was fairly obvious by the amount of dead bugs and spider webs inside that it wasn’t stayed in often. It was a great house to have all of our family get together for a reunion, but seemed a bit pricey for what we got. There were tons of nails in the wall without art work. Random decorations throughout. Difficult (and old) projector to work with in the movie room. Vacuum that didn’t work making it hard to clean up after the kids. Main floor dryer that didn’t dry clothes after three rounds. Etc… Again, I appreciate the size and location, but feel for the price, we shouldn’t have had to deal with the above.

Check in/out was easy. Prior to our arrival we received word that the AC in the media room was down. Jennifer stated they had portable units in place to keep it cool. They did not sufficiently cool the space. It was over 85 degrees in the media room for the duration of our stay. The kids were not able to use the space. In addition to the excessive heat the media room tv/firestick/appletv would not function either. No inputs would pick up on the system and the instructions left did not align with the projector and components on site. We had flooding in the basement. It was addressed in a timely manner but limited our access to the game room as the carpet was saturated. The kitchen is not stocked for larger groups. They lack utensils, cookware, and place settings to accommodate a large group. We were pleased with the size and the location of the property. We requested a partial refund prior to writing our review due to the above issues and were ignored. We will try to stay at Mahoney next time.
