The cottage offers a BBQ, a fire pit, and Adirondack chairs for those who love to relax by the fire at the end of the day. Explore all day and tell stories by the fire at night!
While it feels a million miles from anywhere, the cottage is located a short 7-8 minute drive from downtown St. Andrews so is only minutes from extraordinary restaurants, a lively arts scene, great cafes, grocery stores, a world-class golf course, and amazing outdoor adventure opportunities including sea kayaking, hiking, scuba diving, and whale watching.
A 1-2 minute walk leads you along the edge of a meadow and down to a very quiet beach where you can relax and explore an extensive coastline. You are also welcome to explore the 2-3 km of forest, farm, and seaside trails on our neighbouring farm. The cottage is a short 7-8 minute drive from Saint Andrews and is a sanctuary for anyone looking for a quiet family escape or romantic getaway.
*** Please note that we lost quite a few trees in recent winter storms so have installed a beautiful new fence along the tree-line for privacy purposes. We will be updating the exterior photos in the spring and summer.

Tranquillity and nature abound!
Very comfortable cabin close to beach for exploring. Encountered many deer while walking the lane and on the property. So close to St. Andrews by the Sea and lots of other sites to visit.
We had a lovely time at Serenity by the Sea! Check-in was easy. Wi-Fi was fantastic! The kitchen was well stocked and quaint. The place has all the conveniences of home! There were deer on the property and surrounding roads, a beautiful experience. The beach was amazing at high tide for a swim and at low tide for a walk on the ocean floor. What an amazing spot to vacation! The hosts were friendly, responsive and very knowledgeable about the area.
This property was not new or fancy, but it had been updated and was well-maintained. The kitchen was well equipped and the heating and AC worked as did all the appliances. A short walk to a gravel beach and lots of trails around the property. Wildlife and birds to watch. A short drive into St. Andrews.

Very quiet/rustic
We used this location as a wind down stay at the end of our 3 week tour of the Maritimes. The cottage was very clean and extremely quiet, you lived in nature. It was a great place to just relax. I emailed the owners with a suggestion, she was very good in her response and positive. Because it's so rural, a nightlight in the bathroom would be a great idea as it's very dark when the lights go out! The kitchen has all you need, the beds were very comfortable, we enjoyed being able to get some laundry done! Our favourite part was walking on the nearby beach and starting a campfire (they brought us wood) around 4:30 and sitting out there until 8:00 on our last night. We loved it! Thank you!
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this property. We found the location a little off the beaten track but actually found that we loved the piece and quiet.
All of our needs were met for our stay and would definitely return.
What a lovely space to base our South-western NB explorations! The updated, contemporary feel combined with the natural beauty of Saint Andrew’s coastline provided the perfect staycation! Hosts Krista & Jordy have thoughtfully ensured the cottage was stocked to meet all needs from our morning coffee (drip, Bodum press or Moka pot) to end of day fire pit experience and everything in between! Nature trails & beach walks with abundant wildlife added to the serenity of our stay! Not that anything was missing but our hosts were just a quick message away for any questions!
❤️ the space, the property. & our hosts! Can’t wait to return to try out their Artist’s Cabin on the same coastal property❤️
Jordy and I share passions for the natural world, art and fine craft, photography, design and architecture, and adventure travel, and spend as much time as we can in the outdoors and exploring new territories.
We live in an incredibly beautiful area and truly love welcoming guests here and are very happy to share our favorite local walks/hikes, restaurants, and recommendations so please don't hesitate to ask.
Why they chose this property
Serenity is unique in that it is very private while also being very close to Saint Andrews, NB. As someone who enjoys exploring, I love that this cottage ot only offers you access to its own property and the adjoining beach but also to our neighboring 60-acre farm and our 2-3 km of farm, forest, and waterfront trails.
