We’ve made some updates to ensure everything is more carefully managed going forward. We hope to have the opportunity to host your stay once more!
We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of accommodation. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless with zero headache. They even had the tv on with the netflix fireplace and light music when we walked in. The hot tub was great and everything was clean. We will try to stay here next time we’re in the area!

Hi, Will! Thanks for leaving your review! So glad to hear that you enjoyed the Alpine Way. We can't wait to host you again!
We enjoyed our stay- well equipped home! Wish the hot tub was operational. Probably should not advertise there is a private hot tub when it isn’t working.

Wonderful house with great amenities
Our stay at this home was great. Everything was layed out nice. Having a full kitchen was great because we could cook as much as we wanted to. Made it a lot easier to eat healthy and cheap. It also helped that it was so close to the market. Save Mart is just a 5 minute walk away. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a home experience even though you are hundreds of miles away home.

Hi Westly,
We would love to host you again and glad that you enjoyed your stay with us.
It’s rare when the photos are true to the actual. It was a wonderful surprise to find this at the location. Everything was spotless, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom was stocked. Towels and sheets were good quality and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub after an especially tiring day of volunteering. Garage was a bonus; convenient for unloading and loading. Dishwasher and washer were dated, but wired very well. Thank you for providing a reasonably price clean and comfortable place for us to stay.

Great condo! Clean, good location, great ammenities
Stay was great! Condo was just as advertised. Clean and stocked with everything you need. We love this property, great pool and hot tub.
Only negative this trip was upstairs neighbors who were stomping around each night from 12am to 5am. Luckily our kids slept through it, but we adults heard it as the footsteps were heavy! We realize the owners can't control other neighbors/owners/tenants, so didn't bother to complain as we figured there is not a lot to be done about night owls and loud neighbors. I hope they are quieter or have moved by our next visit! Ha! :)

Thank you for choosing our property for your stay and for taking the time to leave a positive review. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found the condo to be as advertised, clean, and well-stocked. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the noisy upstairs neighbors. We value your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future!
This condo in Truckee was terrible. Neighbors partying all night until 3am, yelling all night right outside our window.
Check in code didn’t work so we wasted time sitting outside in the grass waiting for correct code. No garage door opener for the garage so what’s the point. They said it would be on the table.
Then my wife sits down on a kitchen chair and it literally falls apart. She fell and hurt her arm/head on the wall. We’ll see how she feels but don’t be surprised if you hear from an attorney

Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Just ok…
This place was disappointing! A garage without a clicker was inconvenient. The unit would benefit from having additional blankets (it only had 2).
The common outdoor space has very bright lights all night long that shine through both bedrooms and makes sleeping somewhat challenging. The unit should invest in proper drapes in both bedrooms. A drape that separates the toilet from the master bedroom would help block light and provide privacy too.
The kitchen has the very basics so ideal if ur not planning to cook. It would be helpful to at least have some oil available!
This is an end unit which backs onto the save mart. This unit is close to downtown truckee and some ski resorts.
I had reached out a few times to the management company and was simply told they would look into it or get back to me and never did!

Not the best stay
Unfortunately the hot tub was cold when we arrived and after multiple calls someone came out 5 days later. The washing machine wasn’t working properly and stays filled with water. The dryer was filled with a huge load of towels which I folded. There was a horrible loud buzzing sound somewhere that never stopped our entire stay. One day a cleaner just walked in, no knock or anything. Scared me to death since I was in the kitchen and the door just opened. Unfortunately this wasn’t the best stay and a partial refund should be granted. Only booked this place because of the hot tub for my husbands back and then he was only able to use it 2 days.

I thought the property was clean and easy to get in and out of. Beds were comfy. I only had one complaint. I solely rented this place because it had a private hot tub and The hot tub didn’t work for the first 3 nights. It was great once the maintenance crew fixed it.

Hi, Leigh! Thanks for leaving your review! So glad to hear that our team responded to the hot tub issue so you can enjoy the amenity. We can't wait to host you again!
Property and location are as pictured. Unfortunately I had to give it only 3 stars because I attempted to make thanksgiving dinner and kitchen supplies were so sparse: no oven mitts, no dish towels, no foil,1-2 Pyrex items, etc, etc
I’d also suggest soap in the showers and Kleenex as necessary amenities.

It was a great home base for our trip - kitchen was well stocked, washer and dryer worked great. Hot tub was great too. The stool for kids was a nice touch too.
My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised at how nice your unit is. The beds were comfortable, and the decor was lovely. The unit was clean and neat.
The property was in a great location within close distance to two ski resorts my friends and I went to. Having garage parking, the space in front of it and guest parking (first come first serve) was great! The house close to the grocery store and freeway access. When we entered the home was already warmed up, fireplace going and super easy to check-in! The beds were really comfy. The fridge is HUGE! And the hot tub (heated upon arrival) was amazing to enjoy at the end of the day! The television has a RoKu so it was easy logging into Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu and other streaming apps. The only things that fell a bit short (but weren’t deal breakers) were that the knives in the kitchen were all pretty dull and there was no sharpener for them. Luckily I travel with a travel one in our cooler. Be aware there’s no door to the toilet or shower in the master bathroom because the room is a complete open floor plan. So there’s no privacy unless you lock the master bedroom door. Also, the shower door in the master bathroom got stuck the whole weekend to where we just had to keep it slightly open like a European shower. Pretty sure it’s rusted over and needs some WD40. Also, the hot tub looks a lot bigger in the photos. It fits only 4 people tops (knees touching) or 3 people more comfortably. They also provide beach towels for use.
I would totally stay here again! Everything was well stocked and the location is great!
Very nice condo with all amenities, plus a hot tub after a day of playing outside! Plenty of space for our family of 5 during a long weekend vacation. Just off I-80, this property is one exit from historic downtown Truckee, and very close to Donner Lake and multiple ski resorts. Groceries, pharmacy, sporting goods stores, and food are a short walk or drive away. Highly recommended!!
Spent the week here with my partner. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and cleanliness of the condo. It was nicely updated and well maintained. We especially enjoyed using the grill and hot tub nightly. It was very convenient being located right behind the supermarket and about a 5 min drive to Lake Donner.
