They were incredibly responsive! We accidentally got locked out on Christmas Day, and they helped us resolve the issue within 20 minutes.Highly recommend this place. It’s very close to restaurants and bars, and we also went skiing at Palisades (25min drive)The house has 3 bedrooms with great privacy, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Thank you for your review! We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your Grand Welcome Vacation experience and hope to host you again soon, either here or at one of our many locations across the country.
We had a nice family getaway and the cabin was a little highlight to it. It was clean, warm, cozy, the kitchen had everything you need to cook. The beds were comfortable. We didn’t use washer and dryer but it is definitely good to have. Although the fireplace is gas powered, it was a main place in the house at this time of year. One nice little touch I want to point out is a small heater in the bathroom that made the shower enjoyable. Cute cozy cabin. Totally recommend
The cabin itself is cute, and accurately described. What had us irritated was that the dishwasher is half of standard size, and the allotment of dishwasher tabs reflected a standard size. We ran out, since we were eating in most days. Alerted the management company, thinking it would not be a big deal to get an additional 2-3 tabs. That was not correct. They shined us on, and we were left with doing dishes manually for 2 of our 5-day stay, about one tbs left of even the liquid dishwashing soap when we left. Ridiculous! It would have cost them $2 to get us what we needed. Unfortunate for the cabin owners that will lose out on rent, the cabin was comfortable enough, but we will not give our money again to a management company that performs so poorly. Truly unprofessional.
We came in the summer and were pleasantly at how well stocked and well appointed the house was. Coffee and coffee maker, plenty of dishes, nice new fridge and a small dishwasher. Furniture and rooms were dated but clean and cozy, ample towels, washer/dryer and we loved the upper loft room. No A/C. Faucet was leaking badly but they sent a repairman immediately when I reported it. Would recommend!
Absolutely terrible experience staying in this property for a week. this property need a big update, and has absolutely horrible internet. If you plan to work, ensure to bring your hotspot as router keeps on restarting. Even after contacting support multiple times, internet issues were not addressed. Be aware this property is very small for 8 people and has only 1 full bathroom and another one is 0.25 bath! There is not even a latch in the second bathroom upstairs. Location is good, very quite and peaceful, however, no internet, no AC, outdated carpet and lack of second bathroom made it a terrible experience for our family. Bear also visited right on first night! Will never stay here again.

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback about your stay. This home is an old school Tahoe cabin, meant to preserve its classic decor/size. Wifi can be spotty in the mountain area during peak season and therefore, a new router was delivered during your stay. It is very common for homes in this area to have AC since it is not needed for the majority of the year. Thank you!
Small cabin that feels big with a well stocked kitchen and the photos do it justice for you have a nice eating/ living area. Clean with everything one could need. We did have a few spiders in the upstairs room and the place is a little worn feel but a good overall experience. Our car was visited by a bear at night so do not leave any food in ur car. He only left a paw print on the door and window and lucky no damage to the car since it was locked. PS bears can open doors.
Great spot, nice cabin. We will be looking to rent this place again in the winter or next summer!

Woodland Chalet Review
Overall a nice property. Carpet was in poor condition and dire need of replacement. Otherwise the house was clean. We did have an issue with a couple of spiders. Also, the property owner is storing a trailer and boat on the property, so getting two cars in will be tight. No way you have room for four.
Everything was super clean and better than expected. I had trouble figuring out check in and out times but other than that, all was great! Thank you!!

Nice place but needs a couple small fixes
The overall stay was good and a great location. However, the driveway wasn't plowed nor was access into the trash bins so we couldn't finish cleaning and clearing out as we would have liked. I had to do a great deal of shoveling to get into the driveway and we were there 3 days before the drive was finally plowed. There are some small fixes needed, most notably, the carpet on the stair where an ugly yellow patch has been temporarily placed. Well stocked kitchen and good dining facilities and nice gas fireplace. New appliances which was great. Perfect accommodation for 4-8 people. A bit pricey given the overall worn condition of linens, and carpet. Still would recommend.

Had everything we needed and is kept in nice condition
Cabin has more room than it looks from pictures. Nicely decorated and equipped. There were still a few ants in the kitchen sink area, but they didn't take much room. No problems.

Overrun with ants, very dated, carpets worn and felt dirty
We kept everything in the refrigerator and most of our clothes in the car. Examined everything for “hitchhikers” So we didn’t take the ants home with us. The ants didn’t bite. Not our usual approach to decision making but we didn’t have time to move, were only there to shower and sleep. Yes, ants in bedroom too. Sigh.

Hi Timothy,
Thank you for taking the time to inform us of these issues. Since your stay, we have managed those pesty antys by having pest control treat the property. I apologize this was not completed prior to your arrival as we were unaware of this issue during that time. We have also had the carpets professionally cleaned since your stay. We hope to have the chance to host you at one of our other properties in the future!
Best,
Alyse
