Clean, well stocked, lovely place to stay. We enjoyed hiking nearby in the day, and relaxing in the evenings at the house- cooking and playing foosball.
Great place - very clean and cozy. Beautiful farm next door, loved seeing the cows come right up to the property line. Appreciated the large dining table with comfy chairs and comfy beds
Everything was described as mentioned in the pictures. Only downfall was no railings going into the into the house and down to the basement. Overall very nice stay
My family and I had a great stay at this property. The living room and kitchen were the perfect size for everyone to be together without crowding each other. And the foosball table was a big hit! The kitchen had most everything we needed to cook meals for 5 people, so that was nice. The beds, pillows, and bedding were very comfortable. The upstairs does stay warmer than the downstairs, so you might want to keep that in mind when making sleeping arrangements. The owner was very communicative and we had our access instructions well in advance, which I very much appreciated. It was an all around great stay!
The kitchen was large. The location of the refrigerator competed with the location of the door to the basement, but they make it work. The place was remote and quiet and my family had plenty of space and made a lot of noise without bothering anybody because there’s no close neighbors! The host was very responsive and the bedding was extremely comfortable! If I ever come back to Amish country, I would love to stay at this cottage again!
The space was exactly what was described and the kitchen had everything we needed. The common spaces - upstairs, downstairs and deck - were delightful. Our only issue was that the A/C doesn't reach the downstairs bedroom, so that one bedroom is hard to cool when the weather is hot.
This was a great place to stay. We stayed for a week and the home was large enough to have my family for dinner and the fire pit was great for s'mores. I love that the place did not smell like a hotel or other cleaning chemicals. Everything was new. My kids and I loved the foosball table. I stayed. The home furnishing and decorations were beautiful. I only gave cleanliness 4 because the amount of bugs around the home was as expected being in the creek-farm-woodsy area, but the home may benefit from extra spray for giant ants that were frequent. Overall, I highly recommend this beautiful home!
We really enjoyed our experience. The house is clean and comfortable. Having a foosball table was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the house was nicely furnished. The host responded quickly and the kitchen was well stocked. There are few options for restaurants near by so you will want to plan accordingly. Eagle Cafe was a great place to go for a huge breakfast. We would stay here again. The only concern I would share is the stairs to the basement are steep and that’s where the living area is. It wasn’t a problem for us, but if you have mobility issues of any kind, make sure you talk to the host, before you book.
