A century-old house brought current

Most homes that sleep fourteen are new-construction boxes on a cul-de-sac. This one carries a bronze historic-designation plaque by the front door — intricately painted ceilings, oak flooring, and generous room proportions you don't get in new construction. The bathrooms have been rebuilt, so you get 1925 architecture with modern plumbing and water pressure.

It's one of the few surviving structures from Kelsey City — Florida's first zoned municipality, laid out by John Nolen and the Olmsted Brothers, the firm behind the National Mall and the White House grounds. Ask us about the house and we'll tell you the story.
