Located on a one-acre lot tucked away between the trees and natural vegetation that only the St. George Plantation offers, sits Island Girl SGI. This cute and cozy beach bungalow that speaks of "old Florida", is perfect for couples or small families! There are 2 very spacious bedrooms and 2 baths. A large living area has plenty of seating and even a game table on which to play games or jigsaw puzzles in the evening! Take in the view and the sea breeze whistling through the trees on the large wrap-around deck. Island Girl will give you that recharge you need! The beach path and dune walkover are the most beautiful on the Island, and only 300 steps. The house is tucked back into natural vegetation for complete privacy and peace. A park-style grill, fish cleaning area, outdoor shower, picnic table, and loungers complete the downstairs area. Approved Fur Babies are welcome for an extra fee!

St. George Island Plantation is a large gated community on the western end of the island. It features 24-hour security, nature and bike trails, a kayak launch, pickle and tennis courts, and a small gym located on Magnolia within the Clubhouse. Multiple "viewing" spots are located throughout the community to visit, both on Apalachicola Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.

There are 2 large resort-style swimming pools, one located just 3 minutes down the bike path. There are multiple tennis courts and a pickleball court, At the very end of the Plantation, enjoy the best fishing on the island at "the cut". It is accessible via the beach.

Linens and cleaning services are included in our rates. An initial supply of paper products and bar hand soap is supplied with each booking. Complimentary beach towels are provided, just don't forget to wash and put them away for the next guest!

Bike, chair, and umbrella rentals are available through several companies on the Island

* St. George Island is a remote barrier island. Although we enjoy every amenity, there can be disruptions in services. Please note that we can not guarantee Internet, television, telephone, or electricity, (if you change any cable or internet configuration, you may forfeit your security deposit). We will guarantee that we will make every effort to have the service restored as soon as possible. Many of the technicians however are located miles away and can take some time to arrive. There are several restaurants both on the Island and in nearby Apalachicola that offer free Wi-Fi!
