When booking our home please include a brief description of who you’ll be traveling with and what brings you to the area with your reservation request.

Fully renovated beachfront condo in Gearhart, OR!
The primary bedroom has a new mattress that is a medium firm memory foam. Many guests love it and asked for information to purchase.
We are centered between Cannon Beach (10 miles south) and Warrenton/Astoria which is 10 miles north of Gearhart. Seaside is just 3 miles away and Camp Rilea for those coming to the area for training is only 7 miles north of our beautiful little town!

We chose Gearhart for its location on the beach and easy access to the beach cities north and south of us.

You’ll find Costco, Fred Meyer, Super Walmart in Warrenton just 10 miles away. Portland is just 1.5 hours.

Our home is one of few this close to the ocean and just steps to the water. There is a wonderful bakery and coffee shop that I love to walk to a few blocks away and if you love to play golf we have a beautiful upscale golf course just blocks away!

Please purchase trip insurance (cancel for any reason opt) as there will NOT be any refunds for ANY reason outside the policy guidelines.
A signed rental agreement and photo ID of all guests will be required for all stays.

Loved the Location

Everything was fine...the location is nice. 30yd walk down a sandy path to the beach. Gearhart is just out of the fray of Seaside, and there is a McMinimans 1 block away. All was good... except for the beds. The owner needs to replace the matresses. Did not like the beds. You have to crawl out of a hole. Once changed we'd rent again.

Exactly what we wanted

The condo was exactly as it appears in the VRBO pictures - Clean, neat, updated and nicely furnished. With the 2nd bedroom and bathroom, we were able to have our son and daughter-in-law from Portland visit a few weekends during our 2 month stay. The condo is in a wonderful location - "steps from the beach" and also steps to the walkable town of Gearhart. We already have reservations for next year!

Condo at Beach and Gearhart Golf Club

We found that the property was accurately presented in the pictures and information. We were good with the location and the property in general. There was a nice, large television. There were some negatives: Although we were staying for the full month, we found that most other renters were in and out in a few days. There was no privacy off the patio area if our door was not closed. The smell and taste of the water was unpleasant, so we had to buy bottled water for drinking. The hot water supply was limited, so it was necessary to time showers and laundry around it. The beds were not as comfortable as we would have expected for a 30 day stay. And there were no sheets to fit the smaller bed, so it was necessary to use larger sheets which was very annoying. The electric was insufficient for the fans or heaters in the bathrooms to be running simultaneously which was inconvenient and annoying. Our phones are on the AT&T network and we could not make or receive calls inside the condo. The kitchen was sparsely stocked and all of the warnings about not doing anything to set off the fire alarm made us apprehensive about using the stove/oven.

Thank you for your review. Gearhart is a small beach community and no one else in our building rents. The people you saw were owners who come from Portland on the weekends. In regards to phone calls I have an AT&T iPhone as well and if you turn on Wifi calling you can make calls. Our building has a fire alarm connected to the fire department and we ask guests to open the doors if they cook anything that could cause the alarm to go off as the city takes your safety seriously. The kitchen is fully stocked so I’m not sure what was sparse. I will update our photos to show what is provided so future guests know what is provided.

Amazing fun filled stay!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was perfect. We saw herds of Elk an arms length away. Many incredible sunsets and the most relaxing and accommodating stay I have experienced on the beach. I work for a cruise line and have been around the world multiple times and look this beach stay is in my top five!

Beautiful condo, steps from the beach.

The place looks as if it jumped off the cover of a magazine. It has a cozy and warm but also fresh and clean feeling. There is everything you could need for an extended stay or a short trip. The beach is steps away and watching the storms roll in and out in the winter is enchanting. The best days are the clear, frosty, late afternoons as the warm glow of the sun slowly dips beyond the horizon. The last lights of the day spilling in through the westward windows. The condo is situated within walking distance of downtown Gearhart, a beautiful golf course, and the most quaint hidden McMenamins Sand Trap Bar.

Stunning Condo! Perfect view and only a stones throw from the beach!

My family and I keep finding ourselves returning to Gearhart and THIS condo! This property has an amazing view and is right on the beach. It’s the closest to the beach I’ve found. Upon arrival, the condo was immaculate and fully stocked. Alicia has excellent and timely communication and was only a message away for anything we needed. We were only a short walk away from our favorite happy hour at McMenimans and then on to the cutest little ice cream place for dessert! My family and I hope to stay again! Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us!

Fantastic view

The view was incredible. So close to the beach. The condo was so comfy and cozy. Alicia was so professional and informative. This is definitely a place I will use again.
