We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Well laid out for a small space with modern amenities, and very comfortable. The front porch opens up to the south with a view of rolling hills and fields - perfect spot to sit and enjoy your coffee. We’ll be back again someday.
Wonderful and relaxing location. Adorable, quaint and well- appointed. One of the best places we have stayed on our regular trips to Spokane. Honestly the only thing bad we experienced was terrible communication with the guest communicator Callan. Multiple messages unanswered with questions and no information sent for check in. The hosts may want to consider a different person to manage this tiny home- the bad communication does a disservice to your absolutely wonderful tiny home! We would love to stay again, but Callan hasn’t written us back!
Cute tiny home in the country. It has all the necessities. Clean and tidy. We enjoyed watching the wildlife (deer and turkeys) right in the front yard.
We were amazed at how lovely this tiny home is! We really didn’t know what to expect; photos can be deceptive. But the listing doesn’t really do it justice. I’d describe it as adorable, but that doesn’t reflect the stylishness, the little grace notes scattered throughout.A caveat or two: there ARE two very short, but quite steep ladders leading up to the loft. My husband and I are both in our sixties and we zipped up and down them very comfortably, but YMMV. Also, we drove out after dark and thought we were going to the end of the earth, but it really is just twenty minutes or so outside the city. But it does feel a world away!
The pictures of this place don’t do it justice! It’s super cute! The tiny home was clean, comfortable, and well air conditioned. If you plan to stay there during summer time I recommend bringing an extra fan for the loft area as the AC doesn’t reach up there well. The host had a fan going when we got there which was nice and we had brought one as well, with both fans we were able to cool it down up there. The kitchen does not have a toaster or oven which is fine just something to take note of! The bed is really comfortable as well. My only qualms with this Vrbo were the shower, the way the shower head is positioned makes it really awkward when you’re standing in there and the water pressure is so intense it actually hurts a little haha! My second thing was there is a security camera on the front porch that appears to be able to see into the kitchen/ bathroom door (but not the bathroom itself) and we didn’t notice this until we were getting ready to leave. The host informed us the camera cannot see inside but it is something that made us feel a little uncomfortable. I do wish they would mention in the listing that there’s a camera on the front porch, especially since it is angled in a way that looks like it has view into the home. Overall we had a great stay and would stay again, would probably just close the kitchen curtains haha!
The Orchard Prairie Tiny Home is situated on my parents' property in North Spokane. My mom and I decided to list it because we love their property and want to share it with others! My mom, dad, and I all worked on the tiny house back in 2022. My parent's customized it, and with a lot of my dad's handywork, they made it their own. The tiny house was a labor of love and a project that my family is so proud of! We are so excited to share it with the world!
Why they chose this property
Orchard Prairie offers all of the serenity of the countryside while still being close to the city. Sitting just 30 minutes away from Downtown Spokane, and 45 minutes from Mt. Spokane, the Tiny house is perfectly central for an array of activities.
