On a quiet back street just 2 blocks from the beach and a pleasant 15 minute walk to the town square. Lovely large studio apartment with a king bed and a half wall and closet separating the bedroom from the living room and kitchen area. Sofa bed for a third guest if needed. Well-equipped kitchen with granite countertop and full-size fridge. Property shared with 3 other units; a smaller studio on the ground floor, a 2 bedroom on the second floor, and a large studio on the third floor. Rent the whole property for your family gathering. Your unit has a private, screened-in porch. Located right next to the Abbey del Sol property with the central office is located. The office is open every day from 8am to 5pm to help with anything you need. Base rate for 2 people. Extra person per night $30 USD. Non smoking only.

Perfect Stay for a Small Family

Being on the ground floor was a big plus, especially with a child — easy access and no stairs to worry about.The pool was a highlight for all of us — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for cooling off after a day out. We also really enjoyed using the grill in the evenings.The area was peaceful and safe, and the apartment had everything we needed for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Simply amazing!

Simply put, we didn’t want to leave this clean and well maintained casa. This unit (1 of 4) is located at the back, facing the pool and garden area. Close enough to the beach and restaurants yet far enough away so one can relax. Suitable really for two individuals but can sleep 3 as the futon sofa make a single bed. Say hi to Mariela at the front desk of Abbey del Sol if you require anything, management is very attentive and helpful.

It is a one-floor rental that includes big jugs of drinking and cooking water, beach towels, beach chairs and bicycles which we found to be a great addition to our trip. Any trip you want to organize can be done by sending a whatsapp message or walking to the main property management office around the corner. We would definately stay in one of their apartments again. Clean, good bed, good showers and it backs up onto a pool. I wasn't interested in swimming in the pool (its chlorinated) and its not big enough to do laps but if you wanted to cool off its great. The lounge chairs and trees around it is very lovely. Because the apartment is on the main floor, we closed our blinds for privacy as other people can use the pool area but mostly we had it to ourselves. It is a 5 minute or less walk to the beach!!!

Clean, and they go above and beyond to make your vacation perfect. Unfortunately, we can no longer get a reservation during our chosen time. Too many snow birds who book for months at a time, have taken all properties during the winter months. So if we want to return to Puerto Morelos we will have to find another option. We have been vacationing here for almost 25 years. Our children grew up spending every spring break here.Amazing to see the many changes to our little town. We had planned on retiring here, but we are forced to put that dream to rest.

De tuin met het zwembad voor de deur hadden we helemaal voor onszelf! Iets verder van het centrum gelegen, maar daardoor heerlijk rustig en er zijn gratis fietsen beschikbaar en dan ben je met een paar minuten in het centrum. Bed is groot en comfortabel!

Wonderful property in a quiet neighborhood

This particular rental had a walkout to a well maintained pool surrounded by lush gardens and included a gas bbq. The apartment was well equipped with all utensils and appliances. The king sized bed was comfortable and the linens above grade. The staff were excellent, friendly and professional. The gardens/ pool were maintained daily and the rental thoroughly cleaned weekly. As a guest you have access to bikes. This was the only area that I feel could be improved since not all of the bikes were in good working order.That being said, this rental was still fantastic!

Attractively decorated in the Mexican colours, spotless. A home away from home, what I really appreciate is that there is enough coffee available for the first morning or two until one gets to the grocery store.Sonoma #1 is very private with one other apt.on the premises to share the pool.I had an excellent Italian meal at Spaghettini Restaurant which is slightly out of the way, All restaurants are accessible on foot and being a solo traveller I feel very safe walking home alone.
