Important to Know
Our home is nestled in a natural wooded mountain setting, so occasional wildlife or insects may be seen — part of the authentic Smoky Mountain experience. The home is professionally treated, but nature is part of the charm.

Because of the elevated location, high winds can occur — please secure all outdoor furniture and hot tub covers when not in use.

This is also a working farm property. We live nearby on the same estate and may occasionally be present for maintenance or assistance. Our friendly dogs stay within our private area and may bark when they see guests. They’re never allowed in guest spaces, and we’re happy to accommodate any sensitivities.

• Guest Access
Guests have full private access to the entire Lux Mountain Chalet home, including the chalet, deck, firepit, and hot tub areas.

The property provides ample gravel parking for up to six vehicles — perfect for families or groups traveling separately. Please park only on the gravel areas, not on the grass.

The gravel road leading to the home is well-maintained, but because of our mountain setting, we recommend an AWD or 4WD vehicle during winter months for peace of mind.

There’s also space for a large horse trailer near the additional paddock if needed.

• Interaction with guest
Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities. We’re attentive, responsive hosts available via VRBO messaging throughout your stay for any questions or assistance.

If something isn’t perfect, please reach out right away — we can usually resolve most concerns quickly when we know about them during your visit. This ensures you enjoy every moment of your mountain getaway.

Our home is accurately described and professionally maintained, and we do our best to provide a seamless experience. Please note that refund requests for unreported issues, or for circumstances beyond our control (such as insects, wildlife, weather, or local noise), may not be eligible. Using reviews to request refunds after departure may also be reported to Airbnb.

We’re always happy to help and want you to leave relaxed, refreshed, and ready to return!
