Very clean. Very quiet. Beautiful location. Very nice host. If you are looking for a getaway to escape the routine and distractions of life, this is the place. The Gunflint Trail will not disappoint.

The cabin is newly finished and very clean. The whitewash knotty pine inside gives the cabin a real northwoods feel. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchenette equipped perfecly for our needs. We appreciate the no pet policy due to allergy issues. Wifi worked perfectly.Beautiful location on Iron Lake and we liked having access to kayaks and a canoe to enjoy the water. The sunrise and sunset are beautful on the water! The variety of birds and ducks in the woods and on the water was amazing.On the Gunflint Trail in route we even had a moose sighting!We loved this rental and plan to make a return visit.

This VRBO was so thoughtfully created for many different needs of all types of guests. I visited with my children (15, 18 & 20 y/o) and my mother, who was 83. My mother is quite physically limited; however, the apartment had many items that helped my mother navigate the beautiful area and apartment without much issue at all. The apartment was exceptionally clean and organized. As mentioned before, the apartment was furnished very thoughtfully for a wide variety of different types of guests' needs.The beauty of the area speaks for itself, as it is nestled amongst the Superior National Forest and State Forest land. I have shared this VRBO location with many, many of my friends and family because it is AMAZING!

Great spot off the beaten path. Didn't encounter anyone else on the lake, and it's big enough for some good paddling. Plus there are so many more nearby. Cabin is cozy and the kitchenette is enough for simple cooking. Great launching point to explore the north shore/Grand Marais/Boundary Waters

Very comfortable, clean and well done accommodation. Very quiet and serene location with breathtaking kayaking. Easy check in. Great place to explore the gunflint trail! If you need peace and calm in your life, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!!!
