This neighborhood is a private development Eastward Look Estates! There's a park with playscape, swings, basketball and tennis courts. When walking to the beach (state or private), you can enter on the private part of Scarborough where you can play water sports or the state beach with the pavilion and lifeguards. If you drive, there is a parking fee. (beach entry is free)

Guests will enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in our immaculate upscale homes. Our homes are a short distance from Scarborough and Roger Wheeler State Beaches. It's a quick trip to local attractions: the Port of Galilee, Narragansett Pier and Block Island Ferry, ice cream spots and Iggy's, a beloved seafood restaurant. The area features golf, mini-golf, go carts, batting cages, roller skating, water sports, wind surfing, jet skiing, boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and more. There is a seasonal Saturday farmers' market nearby.

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Remove all trash put in garbage cans & leave cans in rack do not bring to street. With recyclable's, cans and bottles, boxes put in Blue Bins only bring out to curb on Saturday at check out Saturday
Leave the two pillows and light summer blanket in each room do not remove them from home. Check out is 10am sharp thank you for traveling with me.
Leave home neat remove all belongings & check dryer. Secure all beach items under front deck, beach carts, umbrella and chairs, patio furniture should be left on each deck as you found it. Thanks
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No fireworks or candles allowed on property. Gas Grill is not allowed on upper deck.

Great beach home

My family and I loved the neighborhood and the close proximity to Scarborough beach. The home is clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The outdoor decks are great and really add extended space to the property. I also was appreciative to having beach chairs and umbrellas available to use since we forgot all of ours. Overall, I would recommend this property for a stay in Narragansett.

We had a wonderful week at this property! The house was nice and very clean with plenty of space for our 9 family members and our cars. The property manager, Debbie, was super and check-in was easy. The house has 2 great decks which we really enjoyed with a short walk to Scarborough Beach (which we enjoyed daily). We loved the neighborhood and would definitely rent this house again!

Summer vacation

The place was great. Just what we needed. Great location, short walk to the beach. Love the two decks. The sunrise off the back deck was beautiful. Good layout of the house - some unusual but good. The top level has the 4 bedrooms and the living room and kitchen and one bathroom. A good space. To get to the other two bedrooms and bathroom you need to go down a spiral staircase. But no problem. Debbie, the host, was great and always responsive. Would go again and recommend.

Great Family Get-together at the Beach

This house was bigger than we expected-the decks on the east The nice decks on the east and west sides offered great spots for sipping coffee in the morning and enjoying our drink of the day in the evening! We had 9 adults and an infant and had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, utensils and pots and pans. The kitchen table was large enough for us to eat together. The washer and dryer were large capacity- our entire load of beach towels dried in 1 cycle! Debbie was very responsive and helpful. We used the rental service listed for sheets and towels and were very pleased with it-the bag of clean linens was waiting for us by the front door, they were good quality, and we just put all the dirty items back in the bag for pick up when we checked out. Both bathrooms were in good working order with good water pressure and enough hot water. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. We did get one season parking pass so we could transport our chairs, coolers, umbrella, baby gear and grandma to the beach. We definitely recommend this porperty!

Nice week

Upsides: This property is in a VERY quiet neighborhood, which is really nice; no partying crowds, just families the week we were there. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the north end of Scarborough Beach. If you want to drive and pay, it is convenient to the North End overflow lots. We thought the kitchen was well-enough equipped for the amount that we cooked. Dishwasher was good, washer and dryer good. The two decks, front and back, allow use when they are in shade at different times of the day. Deck furniture seemed newer. The property manager, Debbie, is very responsive, and, in retrospect, I should have contacted her sooner about a couple of concerns. That said, there are some things to consider. Our family did not like the downstairs bedrooms at all, which have no AC, only fans, and they felt were too musty-smelling to sleep in; we all ended up upstairs where there were room ACs during the hot week that we were there. So, I would consider this a 4 BR house, not 6. We adults had to go to Marshall's and buy mattress toppers to make the beds more comfortable; the mattresses are very basic. Given that renters have to bring all bed linens, that should be a consideration.

Basics covered

Eastward Look had everything we needed. There were not a lot of frills or extras, but it covered our needs just fine. The neighbors invited our kids to play whiffle ball with them in the yard. Some folks down the street were there to party and set off fireworks almost every night, which was not pleasant, but otherwise the neighborhood seemed family friendly. The beach was lovely, not crowded, and the walk to the beach never felt too long. It was nice being close to the walk around the point, and the kids had a great time on the rocks and exploring the tidal pools when the tide was low. We would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

Great summer vacation for extended family. Plenty of room for 3 families including 2 with small children. Simple and very clean rooms. Easy walking distance to neighborhood park and less than a mile to the beach. Safe walk if you are up to it - we did it often. Might be a bit warm in family rooms if it was a hot week, but in the low 80s it was perfect. Host was super accessible and met us in person to discuss questions and for check out. Thanks for a great stay!

Narragansett beach vacation

Excellent time. Grill was big. Lots of options for gathering : outside in the sun or the shade/front or back or inside! Great yard for frisbee or catch and the beach always speaks for itself

Scarborough beach house

The house was very clean when we arrived which was nice in this COVID time. Well stocked . Disappointed that the lower bedrooms did not have air conditioning. That could have been mentioned in the description. Overall a comfortable week .

Great location, very comfortable house

We really enjoy the house, great location. We were 11 including 4 children between 8 and 11 years old and we had plenty of living space for everybody. The house is well equipped. We had a concern with the shower and Debbie was quick to fix it. We appreciate the 2 deck (front and back of the house) very convenient. Short walk to the beach, plenty of activity arround. Love it!

2019 family vacation

The house was as advertised, plenty of room for everyone in our family. Back yard was spacious for games and playing. Walk to the beach was easy and short. We all had another great week in Narragansett!

Propriété idéale pour 3 familles. Facile pour se rendre à plage à la marche. Manque toutefois une douche extérieure telle que mentionnée dans l'annonce. Nous devons apporter draps, serviettes, papier de toilette, savons et linges à vaisselle. Il n'y a pas d'air climatisé. Maison intéressante avec ses 2 balcons, à l'avant et à l'arrière de la maison. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour la cuisine. Maison bien dans son ensemble.

Nice property. Close to beaches. Easily accommodated our group. All appliances clean and in good working order. Bedrooms/beds comfortable. Property could use a little tlc- deck, Windows need dowel rods in order to stay open. Overall a good place to stay we enjoyed ourselves.

Since 1973, we've offered weekly summer and academic school year rentals in Narragansett Rhode Island near Scarborough Beach area in the Eastward Look neighborhood. Our homes are located in the Eastward Look neighborhood, which is ¼ mile from Scarborough State Beach. Our homes rent from a Saturday to a Saturday.
Check-in is at 3:00pm Check-out is by 10am.
We have 6 bedroom rentals, 2 bathroom with each home offering comfort for the entire family at competitive rental prices.
Our homes include;
