Once you can pull your eyes away from the spectacular sea views, you will find that this lovely second floor apartment also features free internet access, a private terrace, pool & deck area, jetty, and what amounts to a private beach. The master bedroom contains a king size bed & en-suite bath, with tub/shower, while the other bedroom has twin beds and adjacent bath w/shower. Also included are linens, towels, soap, hair dryer, iron/board and tissue. There are ceiling fans throughout, and both bedrooms have A/C. The fully equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender & small clothes washer/dryer unit. The apartment includes flat screen Satellite TV, and local phone calls. A tropical decorating theme prevails. Each apartment in the gated 17 unit building has access to an elevator, secure parking, larger washer/dryer units and poolside access to bathrooms.

Gorgeous property

The sea views were to die for! The apartment was so nice and the pool had everything, including outdoor showers. I could have lived here for a month! Communication was great and everyone was so helpful. I want to go back!

a hidden gem

Condo was as advertised. It was clean ,well maintained and perfectly situated on the ocean front and near all amenities. The view from the master BR. was spectacular . The guest BR. had a Queen sized bed and was air conditioned as was the whole unit. The Sandy beach was better than expected. In low tide we could walk to other beaches and swim with the turtles. Pool was pristine and never crowded.Our favorite restaurants were all within walking minutes from the condo . ( The Stream , Castaway and the east Indian restaurant next door are all highly recommended.) Noise was not a factor and night life was all within walking distance. We did not need a car, We booked with Williams Tours for all our sightseeing and had a wonderful guide, Scot.Fresh fish and vegetables were available daily at Oistens Market and reasonably priced. We were 4 adults and could not have had a better vacation for two weeks. Barbara Trotman our Realtor was most accommodating and always available to us. Barbados is people friendly and safe to travel in. A beautiful island.

Wonderful place to stay

St. Lawrence Gap apartments was a wonderful place to stay during our trip to Barbados. The apartment was clean & well-maintained, and the apartment & property were just as described in the listing. These apartments are in a great location - close to restaurants and beaches. If you're into nightlife, you won't be disappointed. The apartments were not crowded. Typically, we would see 3 or 4 other people at the most around the pool at one time. Also, the apartments felt safe. There were guards on duty around the clock. The beach area in front of the apartments is quite small, but one can still swim there (but it is rocky). We swam around the corner and saw some fish and large conch shells. A larger beach was a short walk down the Gap. For $5 a day, we could rent a beach umbrella with chairs. Very nice. On our last day, it rained in the morning and sea turtles came to the beach where we were swimming. We were able to swim with the turtles. It was awesome! Barbara was very helpful prior to our arrival. If you're going to rent a car, be sure to use the company she recommends. We went with another company and everything was fine, but the company she recommends has an office at the airport with really helpful employees. Our comany isn't located at the airport and we had some trouble finding the representative. But it all worked out in the end. I would recommend Barbados if you're considering a carribbean island for your next vacation. Everyone is friendly on the island, it feels pretty safe and the weather is gorgeous. My only dislike about Barbados are the steep prices for food. Much more expensive than the U.S., but if you know what to expect then you can factor it into your budget. One more thing..if you stay in these apartments, consider going into Bridgetown for a grocery store. The grocery stores that we found closest to St. Lawrence Gap had very limited selection. But we found a wonderful grocery store in the Bridgetown area.
