For me there is nothing better than vacation and sitting by a lake. This was perfect! Loved our time. We bring food and have our meals on property. We were glad we did because you are secluded, which is what we were looking for. Recommend!

We had a fabulous stay! Everything about this listing was exceptional. First the setting on the quiet, peaceful lake was a dream to wake up to each day. The fishing was actually quite good. The house itself was very well appointed and with enough room for the 5. It had every convenience from laundry, well stocked kitchen, Roku, and games. The deck was so spacious to gather and eat. We loved exploring the small towns nearby. Our hosts were so attentive!If you want a private stay with a lake for swimming, this is the place for you!

Amazing hosts - beautiful home on gorgeous lake and kayaks/canoe/pedal boat

Our family (four adults and two six year olds) had an incredible week-long stay at Henry and Myrna’s property! The home is new, clean, and well-appointed with beautiful appliances. The AC unit easily cools the whole home and each room has a ceiling fan too. The home has a beautiful lawn with an easy sloped entry to a private lake. They allow renters to use their boats and our boys loved going out on the kayaks, canoe, and pedal boat. The trex deck is new with an awesome Weber grill which meant we spent every minute that we weren’t in the lake on the deck grilling - or at the firepit! There were board games inside for kids and adults as well as life jackets in adults, youth, and kid sizes.Henry and Myrna are phenomenal hosts. During our stay there were a few hiccups that were outside of anyone’s control (e.g., massive storms knocked out power twice). They responded in real-time to report the outage to the power company and give us updates on estimated return times for power. The washer/dryer had also broken just before we checked in. Despite it being late and a weekend, they drove up to replace the machine that night. That’s how exceptional these hosts are and that’s the level of care they bring to this home and their renters. Thank you, Henry and Myrna, for sharing your home with us! We created lasting memories with our family and we are forever grateful for the slice of paradise you let us experience.
