Welcome to Songwood! Tucked away on a Catskill mountain ridge top at the end of a mile-long dirt road is our magical haven. Songwood is enveloped by nature, quiet as a deep forest, a night sky as bright as northern Maine. Accommodations and activities are spread across 34 acres and the Farmhouse/Barn compound.

Farmhouse: 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, loft for games, screenings, or extra sleeping, 3 outdoor sitting areas, indoor fireplace, outdoor firepit, and all of the kitchen amenities for large group cooking. The Farmhouse can sleep up to 17 guests.

Restored Barn with an open event space for large groups, upright piano, full kitchen, queen bedroom, bath, outdoor shower. It is perfect for group gatherings, yoga, movement, live music events, workshops, a small wedding, a family reunion, etc. 4 to 12 guests can sleep here comfortably.

Grounds: Sauna (9 person with attached changing area), hot tub, 2nd outdoor shower, private spring-fed swim pond with floating raft, vegetable gardens, 34 acres of meadows and forests with blueberry bushes and walking trails.

Perfectly suited for groups from 15 to 28. For larger group retreats above 28 people for weddings, live music concerts, or corporate events please contact us about our nearby "Songwood Chapel" property which can be rented in conjuction with Songwood Farm Compound.

The hosts and property were genuinely spectacular during our stay. Amber and Nyneve were super communicative and responsive to our needs and even provided little tea lights that we forgot to bring as we celebrated two friends’ birthdays on the property. The property is stunning from the moment you step foot on it. Houses were restored by the hosts themselves and you can feel the history, care, and attention to detail that went into their restoration. From providing towels and linens to a personal walk through of the property upon our arrival, it was a magical weekend, and certainly one for the books. My group hopes to return next year!

Amber and Nyneve could not have been more gracious helpful hosts. They have really created a stunning landscape at their home. My group loved staying there. The house and barn were both stocked with almost anything one might need!
