The home was wonderful with activities for all ages and the location was close to the main street as well as battlefields! We would definitely stay again. Logan responded with answers to my questions quickly and provided necessary information in a timely manner. Quite enjoyable stay!!!

Our large family gathered at this wonderful home over the holidays and found it to be fun, comfortable and clean. The kids loved the game room and the adults enjoyed spreading out in the open living room, dining room and kitchen area. We also appreciated attention to details such as light switches being clearly marked, the convenience of two dishwashers, and the great communication from the owners. The location is very peaceful. We highly recommend Applewood Landing!

Perfect home for our family of 14 celebrating my mom’s 80th! Spacious kitchen with two dishwashers, great pool area, and plenty of room to gather. Loved the sunsets, outdoor amenities, and convenient location. Hosts were wonderful and responsive—highly recommend!

This house is amazing, it was perfect for our large family. We especially enjoyed the inground pool, and the game room. The large table in the kitchen was great, it allowed us to all sit down and all eat together. Hands down it was one of the best houses we’ve stayed in and the owner was awesome, very quick to respond to all of our questions. Highly recommend.

Fourth of July Vacation

We had an absolutely amazing stay! There were 13 of us ranging from the ages of 1 to 75 and we all enjoyed ourselves. The home is large enough to not feel on top of one another. The pool was a hit! We even had a family field day in the front yard! Ample space for everyone to mingle (or not lol) and still enjoy themselves. The home was very clean and the beds (specifically the pillows!) were to die for!!! We would absolutely come back as it was only a short 1 hour drive for us from home and the perfect mini getaway!

We rented this house as a small family getaway (4 nights) the first week in June. Every year gets harder to plan long vacations with our young adult kids and their significant others, as everyone is so busy with work and school. So we decided on this short - but wonderful - vacation. Let me tell you — this getaway was perfect. The house is absolutely gorgeous! Inside and out. Other than a few trips in to Gettysburg for dinners, shopping, and escape rooms, we mainly stayed at the house. We had SO much fun playing table tennis, pool, darts, pickle ball, wiffle ball, air hockey, board and card games, etc.! We swam a bit, but the water was still a bit cool. Loved the design because everything fun was so close together! The huge tables inside and outside were awesome! Unfortunately, we didn’t have the hot tub until our last night (it was out for repairs), but we did get to enjoy it our last night. Communication with the property manager and the housekeeper (Sissy) was excellent and any problems that did arise (issue with the hot tub) were dealt with swiftly and professionally. We didn’t want the week to end. Beds are unbelievably comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud! House was spotless and well stocked. Steaks on the grill, mountain pies, breakfasts by my great cook husband, late night games, talks, and tons of cherished family time and fun. This house was the perfect place to do all this! We are still talking about this trip and hope to be able to do it again!
