We stayed in early June and the house couldn’t have been more perfect for our needs. Two short blocks to the town square, three bedrooms with on suite bathrooms, and a lovely porch to spend time in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a washer and dryer if needed. Each bedroom and bath had all of the amenities that you could ask for. Frank, the owner, was very attentive before and during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful visit to Gettysburg.

Everything about this stay was fantastic! Being immersed in the history while having contemporary amenities was without a doubt the only way to visit Gettysburg. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting.

A Must Stay at Gettysburg!

This was a really lovely and very historical house to stay in. Frank was a very kind host with great attention to details. And it was immaculately clean! Be sure to listen to the house tour provided and look at the binder with the history of this house!

Historic Retreat

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at the Historic York Manor at Gettysburg. We really enjoyed the audio tour of the home, the walkability to the city, the cleanliness of the home, and that each couple had their own private bedroom suite with full bath. I highly recommend this cute historic gem.

York Street Manor

We had a wonderful stay. The house is filled with beautiful antique furniture but doesnt have a "museum" feel. It has a welcoming atmosphere and we felt very comfortable staying there. There is a garage you can park in and a lot of restaurants/things to do are very walkable.

Beautiful, pristinely clean home in Gettysburg rich in history. It had everything we could have wanted or needed. Far exceeded our expectations! The owner was amazing- explaining everything we needed to know beforehand, giving us suggestions for places to eat which were all so good and was very responsive to any questions we had. So much history!

If you’re looking for an historical experience, this is the place to stay! My husband and I, along with our teenage daughters, thoroughly enjoyed our stay over President’s Day Weekend. This house is within walking distance to all of the downtown shops, restaurants, and the college. Frank, the owner, is extremely kind, pleasant and reachable if you need him. I would definitely stay here again!

Family Getaway

Just spent an amazing 3 days and nights at this home. This home is literally in walking distance to most everything. The house is full of rich history and offers an extremely informative, audio tour of the house, and its relation to the Civil War. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this to everyone!!
