We were greeted by an eye-watering wave of cleaning products and mildew that never subsided.The number of spiders and flying insects in the home was impressive.This was a father & son trip and we spent very little time inside the home. If my wife had been with us we would have been looking for alternate lodging within an hour of arriving Location was good. Walkable to all the great things Venice offers. The neighborhood very quiet. Back yard was a nice place for coffee in the morning. Home furnishings and finishes are old. Not a luxurious spot

We had an amazing experience staying at this Venice Beach rental. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and had that perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm that makes Venice so special.The location truly could not have been better — just a 10min walk to the beach, great coffee spots, restaurants, and all the vibrant energy that makes Venice Beach unique. Despite being close to everything, the home felt peaceful and private, which made it easy to fully relax.The space itself was incredibly well-appointed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the indoor-outdoor flow made it perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze. Every detail felt thoughtful and intentional.Communication with the host was seamless. Curtis was responsive, accommodating, and clearly take pride in making sure guests have a wonderful stay.If you’re looking for a place that captures the true Venice Beach vibe while offering comfort and quality, this is it. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

For the vast majority, our stay was as advertised and awesome. Property was clean, great water pressure for showers, no problem any day with 'no pay' street parking right next to property, beautiful backyard at night to hang out in, 10-15 minute walk to heart of Venice Beach or restaurants/bars at either end, 20 minutes from LAX. Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica Beach 15-20 minute drive away. Person handling our check in and requests was excellent and very accommodating. Never could really figure out tv very well to watch World Cup or movies, but the owner allowed us to charge his account for a movie when informed of our struggles. The only downside thing I can say is the property next door underwent a complete demo and rebuild the week we were there. I mean entire ext and int of house, and the entire yard dug up and two trees cut down. I am sure the owner was aware of situation, but I also believe there is no way he could know the exact week of when the work would be done when we booked 3 months out. That being said, the work never started much before 9am, and was done by 4pm, and didn't really inhibit our enjoyment of the property. We give our stay a 8.5 out of 10, and would reccomend to others.
