About the host
Hosted by The Tung

Hi guys! The Tung here. You can call me Tung or Vincent. I live in Hanoi, Vietnam and I love food & coffee. I will be thrilled to share my list with you. Please don't blame me if you gain some weight after the trip :) Phung Hung House is our cozy place, where you can feel Hanoian's hospitality, friendliness, and joy. Come come!
Why they chose this property
There’s something endlessly charming about Hàng Vải — a street that feels like the true rhythm of Hanoi.
We chose this neighborhood because it gives you the best of both worlds: quiet in the morning, vibrant at night. Just a few steps away and you’re right at the heart of the Old Quarter’s night market, the weekend walking street, and endless local food stalls. Yet when you return home, it’s peaceful again — tucked just far enough from the noise.
We love how walkable everything is. Coffee in the morning? Around the corner. A bowl of phở or a bánh mì? Less than 2 minutes. And at night, the sounds of the street mellow out, replaced by soft conversations and music drifting from nearby cafés.
This neighborhood isn’t just a place to visit. It’s a place to stay, feel, and be a part of — even for just a few days. That’s why we chose it.

What makes this property unique
Hàng Vải House is more than a place to stay — it’s a home designed for connection.
The entire house is yours, spread over several floors with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, a laundry room, and a rooftop terrace with views over Hanoi’s rooftops. Whether you’re traveling with family, a group of friends, or multiple couples, there’s space for everyone to relax and come together.
Two of the rooms come with private projectors for cozy movie nights, while the other two offer large-screen smart TVs. The beds — 4 queen beds and 3 singles — comfortably sleep up to 11 guests. And when you’re not out exploring, there’s a shelf of books and board games waiting for you at home.
The shared kitchen is stocked with essentials for group meals, and the rooftop terrace is perfect for morning coffee or a drink under the stars.
Most of all, the house was designed with intention: to make people feel welcome, relaxed, and connected. It’s not just about having enough beds — it’s about creating memories together, in the heart of Hanoi.
