Very nice place and relaxing stay

We had a wonderful time staying here and really enjoyed the home. The house was clean and had plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable after being at the beach all day.

Great place to stay with family and pet friendly

We needed to accommodate 8 people and a small dog for our vacation to Galveston. This place was perfect! It was roomy and had everything we needed. Pointe West also has great pools and restaurants and we found some great merchandise in the gift shop. We enjoyed our stay so much!

We had a nice stay, with plenty of room and nice views. It was very clean, with comfortable beds and couches, and a large table that could sit all of us. The host was quick to respond and provide anything that was missing. While parts of the house seemed newly updated, there were other things that could use repair, but nothing we couldn’t do without. There is no comfortable seating on the outside balconies and decks, which was disappointing since that’s where we want to spend most of our time when we’re at the beach. The decks are large, so a couch, chairs, and table would be a very nice addition.

I took my family of four to Galveston Texas for Christmas. This house was our home base as we enjoyed the city and Houston area. The house was clean and well stocked. There were plentiful towels and paper products. Kitchen had everything we needed. Everything worked properly and the beds were comfortable. My family really enjoyed the hot tub.We loved the area and really enjoyed walking the beach, The Strand area and beach wall. We ate at The Sunflower Cafe a few times. Wonderful coffee and breakfast fare. We also had a fantastic meal at Cajun Greek (all seafood for us - custom made plate to our tastes made to order for Christmas Eve) and Gaido’s. Seawall Coffee was our go-to shop for sandwiches and coffee, but we also enjoyed Pariah Coffee & Culture Coffee.We had a great time at Hermann Park in Houston for a one day excursion out of the area. We recommend all of it. We personally enjoyed the Japanese Garden. We also took in Holiday Lights and Ice Sculpture fun at Moody’s Gardens in Galveston proper. All in all, our time was spent well. The house is close enough to everything to enjoy it all but far enough away to feel like you are on vacation and can relax.
