About this property
Diamondstone Mini-Cabin!
Upgrade a little from tent camping at the new Diamondstone mini-cabin! Hidden away in the mountains of western North Carolina, on pristine Squally Creek is the amazing shelter cabin Diamondstone!
Caution! Your vehicle should have 5.5 inches of ground clearance to navigate the gravel road to Diamondstone! (Google your car's clearance)
This cabin is completely carry in/carry out!
Inside it features unique, hand-crafted furnishings hewn from local trees! These furnishings include a real queen size log bed "platform" (bring your air mattress/pad and sleeping bags) to crash on, a counter-height dry work table for your camp stove and cooler. There is also a tent site by the creek for older children!
Also the cabin has a log-style coffee table with chairs situated in front of the Jotul gas-fired stove!
Step out the cabin door onto the covered front porch and take in the view! You can sit at the porch table to enjoy your morning coffee, or dinner if you choose! All the while you can watch and listen to the tumbling Squally Creek as it makes its way down the mountain!
Go down the steps and onto the creekside front yard and you will find a picnic table, charcoal grille, firepit! There is a creekside bench right in front of a sweet little swimming hole!
Diamondstone is truly a unique, beautiful, deep-nature experience!
