The home was exactly as described. Easy check-in, great communication. We didn't really use the facilities like the hot tub or outside chairs, but it seems like a nice stay for a couple or two couples.

One of the nicest properties we have rented. Hot tub was great after long day, house well cleaned and good shape. Owner was very helpful and understanding when we made a small error on the actual renting process. When we come back to the area would def consider renting again.

Long Holiday weekend

The location, access to beach area and lake was great. Communication with host was fast and detailed. Check in process was easy. Listing of property has two baths, however there is only one bathroom. Kitchen drawers and cabinets could be wiped out due to crumbs. Floors were dirty and empty water bottles and trash under beds. This house on my option, sleeps 6 people comfortably. Over all, we had a nice time there but felt it was over priced for what we got.

Unfortunately, Elizabeth left dog poop and pee all over my floors and carpets, so I had to throw them away. Very bad experience with guest.

We booked this property for its location, hot tub, and photos, hoping for a relaxing getaway. Instead, it was a disappointing experience and definitely a learning one for our second VRBO stay.The arrival and checkout instructions need updating. The front door code didn’t work, the gate pass instructions were unnecessary, there were no extra trash bags despite checkout requirements, and I’m not convinced the alarm system was working.The hot tub, one of the main reasons we booked, was unusable. It was cold the first night and displayed an error code the second day, so we never got to use it.The home’s only toilet clogged, and there was no plunger. We spent 40 minutes driving to two stores to buy one, cutting into our boat rental time. Rather than apologizing or offering compensation, the host blamed us for the issue.Cleanliness was also lacking. We found used gum beside the mattress, along with cobwebs and noticeable dirt buildup throughout the home. We informed the host, but there was no accountability.Overall, this property was not worth the price, and the location alone did not make up for the numerous issues we experienced.Based on our experience, I fully expect the host to respond to this review the same way they responded to both me and VRBO customer service, defensively, without taking accountability for the issues we encountered.
