Beautiful sunrises over valley. Place is vintage but we enjoy that . Lots of deer around. Chipmunk sat on my bare foot when I was having coffee . Was nice experience
Very close to free parking in town with easy access to the free shuttles and Riverwalk, also close to Safeway. If wanting to bypass town, you can go through the neighborhood to get to RMNP. Layout of the cabin is great as the bedrooms are very separate giving privacy to those in each bedroom.

Disappointed
The house was clean but very outdated and overpriced. It wasn’t worth what we paid for it.

Decent Location, Property Could be Better
Upon arrival, the house had a "clean" smell since the cleaning staff had just been there. However, it didn't take long for that smell to be replaced with musty/old house smell. Opening the windows helped with that. Also, the master bathroom has a very strong urine odor since there's carpet in the bathroom. The couch in the master bedroom is held together with shipping tape. It needs to be thrown out and burned. The picnic table out back is broken so it wasn't useable. And the entire house is just cluttered with random stuff like someone just walked out one day with their clothes and never returned. The house was "surface" clean, but there were cobwebs on the ceilings and corners. The location was fine and easy enough to get in and out during the summer. The beds were comfortable and it served our purpose while we there. However, I would not rebook.

Great location but the inside needs maintenance
The location is great. very closes to estes park downtown and beaver meadows visitor center.
We found a couple of issues during our stay here like:
1. No toiletries in one of the bathroom, including handwash
2. The linens provided were very old and had some smell
3. The mattress was very comfortable. Made a lot of noise when changing sides
4. The plates in the kitchen had some dried food stuck on them
Overall the location is very good and its a good size cabin but things like mattress, linens are very old and not in very good shape
Ram's Retreat was a perfect match for my family s we attended a family reunion in Estes Park. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and spacious accommodations. Close to grocery store, Starbucks, and an easy drive to the YMCA of the Rockies where our other family events occurred.
Nostalgic home located in a fabulous neighborhood. Convenient location to both downtown and Rocky Mountain National Park. Older home with older furnishings. Plenty of room for our family of 4.

disappointing
disgusted to find mouse droppings on kitchen counter every morning. Reported to management and nothing was done about it. No toilet paper in one batnroom and one-half roll in other. Password for internet connection was wrong and mgt. did not have correct one. I will never stay with VRBO again.
Very close to downtown Estes Park and entrance to RMNP is just a few minutes away. House has plenty of space for four adults. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
What a cute cabin close to town! So quiet and great views! The cabin appears to be built in the 50's/60's as possibly a fishing cabin. Wood panelling is soooo cute. Don't let the 2 bedroom description fool you, there is a lot of sleeping options, plus 3 couches. There is no A/C, so if you plan to stay in the cabin in the summer DURING THE DAYTIME, bring extra fans, but in the evening and night it cools the house down VERY well. Upon arrival to the property there is a "Bam Retreat" sign, but it is not illuminate if arriving during the night, and it is 4ft from the house, so watch for it closer to the house, vs the road.
At night you can sit outside and hear the bands from town, enjoyed that very much.
I would stay at this place AGAIN!
Lots of room and nice location if you are going to RMNP. It was a little light on some of the essentials you hope are there when you get there (TP, paper towels, garbage bags, etc.) but over all it was a nice place with lots of room for our family of 5 adults and we enjoyed our stay
Took the (adult) family for vacation and we all had plenty of room to relax and sleep in our own bedrooms. Great views, and all the amenities. Would stay there again for sure!
This is a spacious cabin, very close to Estes Park, a five minute walk at the most to town. I loved getting up in the morning and walking along the river through the town, coming back, and then catching a view of the mountains. The cabin had everything, pots, and pans and silverware, glassware, and dishes galore! it is not the most modern facility, however, clean and has all the amenities one would want. Lots of towels and sunlight.
