You’ll love waking up to the Live Oak trees and charming cobblestones that make up Jones Street, named America’s Prettiest Street by Southern Living Magazine. Built in 1856, this charming cottage is rich in both historical character and modern comforts for up to eight Lucky guests.

Beautifully renovated, many of the original details have been preserved, including the rustic pine floors and exposed ceiling beams. On the first floor you’ll find a formal dining room with seating for six. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining room, and features the original brick fireplace, a custom built island, built in shelving, and stainless steel appliances. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a meal in your home-away-from-home. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating for everyone, so you can enjoy a movie together on the large flat screen TV. A separate sunroom has wall-to-wall windows looking out into the backyard with flagstone patio and barbeque grill perfect for family gatherings.

On the second floor you’ll find two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, and a shared full bath with a double vanity. The third floor loft has one full-sized bed and two twin beds. With a large desk perfect for board games or puzzled, this enchanting spot is sure to form lasting bonds between those sharing the space and is especially perfect for children.

Excellent old home that was exceptionally clean and welcoming. The sunroom and outdoor area were hits for us. There were plenty of beds for everyone and the loft area was great for the boys to have an area of their own to play and sleep. While the walk to the downtown area may be considered far for some, it was very pleasant with lots of sites along the way. We walked it every day with ease. Would definitely stay here again.

Imagine if your accommodation was as beautiful as a historic home but with all the modern appointments. That’s Jones Street cottage! Very walkable, very beautiful. The stairs were a challenge for the eldest in our group, but doable.

Great location and awesome place

Location of this place is perfect and it has plenty of room. Several places within walking distance and proximity to things even if you drive are not far. The only draw back is the air has trouble keeping the house cool, and it is fairly warm in the bedrooms. Also, one shower is a stretch for a big crowd like we had. Other than that, it is perfect.

I absolutely love having as much original home as possible these days. Definitely has character, comfort and homey vibes. I thought having one shower would be a problem with seven adults but it wasn't a problem at all. We just spaced shower time out. The only problem with the house is it does get very hot. The a/c doesn't seem to keep up with the temperature needed. Although there are plenty of fans provided. We really enjoyed walking to our destinations for the day. We had a wonderful time, even though we didn't find any ghost while we were here! Lol.

Perfect getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this unique home. Memories were made. If I HAD to pick something negative, I would just say to update the coffee pot and have more kitchen supplies and spices. We loved the space and the location for sure. I would recommend.

Perfect location!

The house was located on a picturesque street in the historic district. Built in the 1800’s, most rooms were original and had many antiques throughout. The kitchen and bath were remodeled tastefully. The two guest bedrooms were lovely. The attic bedroom was a bit of a climb and a little cramped but worked fine for us. The management company was very responsive to my questions. Great way to feel like a local!

Our family of 7 loved this property. Everyone was comfortable and the space was more than adequate. It is a historical home, so it is of course a little dated but it adds to the charm. The location was perfect, we could walk to most places (about 15 mins) and the only way to experience Savannah is by walking! The patio space was larger than I anticipated. We would stay here again!

Easy check in/out. Nice historical home but cluttered. Too many chairs and tables in each room. And the attic room was a storage area for extra furniture. Carpets needed replaced or cleaned as well as the couches and chairs. Pull out so sofa bed a disaster. Location was great.

Great Place with Roof Issue

Cool old house, but we had a roof leak the entire stay and it rained a lot. Management communicated well and did what they could, but with a 3 night stay, not much could be done to fix the problem. The home is decorated beautifully, just be prepared to walk up some narrow stairs. After all, the home is over 150 years old.

Fantastic!

Loved the house, loved the location!! House was as advertised, and was plenty of space for the five of us. The stairs up to the loft are indeed steep, but this was not an issue for our group. Charming older house, on a beautiful, beautiful street. Outdoor patio is sizable, which was great. Even the river area was at most a 20-minute walk, which was not a problem at all. Savannah is best seen by foot, and Jones Street is a great location in which to center oneself for seeing the city. Great communication with Lucky Savannah too, both before and during (smoke detector battery replaced ASAP) our stay. Would absolutely stay here again!!
