Inside, you’ll find a bright and cozy living space, along with 2 full bathrooms (including one with a bathtub) and the convenience of an outdoor shower—perfect after a day at the beach. This was a great place for my friends and I. Everything was clean and as advertised, and the check-in and check-out process was simple and easy. The location is extremely convenient for walking to the beach or to the main part of Dewey. Highly recommend this place!

I'm from Delaware originally and spent many summers growing up in Dewey Beach with my family and with friends. It is a magical place for us.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is an absolute gem. It is THE sought after neighborhood in Dewey Beach with a mix of original cottages and large homes. It has a low key vibe with party options only 3 blocks away and the house is 1 block to the beach, literally 100 steps. We have a dog friendly beach and lifeguarded 10am-5pm during the summer season. You can hop on the Jolley Trolley which is just steps from the house and head into Rehoboth about a mile away for great restaurants and family fun at the boardwalk or head south to the Rusty Rudder and the Lighthouse (all walkable, too). The Coral Cottage is great choice for a friends getaway, wedding parties, girls weekends, and family beach weeks.

What makes this property unique

I purchased the Coral Cottage in December 2024 after years of searching on Chicago Street in Rehoboth By The Sea in Dewey. I truly can't believe it is mine. With a lot of TLC, I have kept the original house intact built around 1965, but the inside is completely renovated aside from the wooden panels on the walls that make it feel beachy. I love the gas fireplace and, of course, who doesn't love a brand new kitchen and bathrooms. The screened in porch is a great place for coffee and afternoon relaxing as well as late night drinks and conversation. One of my favorite things is to sit out front with drinks in the afternoon and chitchat with the passersby. It. Is. Magical.
