This two bedroom condo without a loft, has a good Ocean and Garden View. Master bedroom has king bed. Down stairs bedroom has king bed. Spacious kitchen cabinets. Wood and tile floor including lanai no carpet. This condo has lots of extra windows that open for a great Ocean breeze. Well stocked. Large flat screen TV in front room and Master bedroom. The lighting in this unit is beautiful. All Furniture, beds and kitchen stock, linens purchased in 2014. BOOK NOW!

Ideal location and wonderful property

Wonderful location across from beach, spotless condo, lovely grounds. We loved the Murphy bed and the bedroom air conditioner was a plus. Checking in was a breeze.

Amazing location for family

Kehei is a really busy tourist center, but this location on the border of Wailea is perfect. Across from a park and beach with maxing sunsets, snorkeling and swimming. We loved every minute of it. Only negative aspect was the rules around the pool made the kids feel pretty unwelcome. There are two pools and it would be nice if one was a bit more kid friendly.

Beautiful beach right across the street. Walking distance to some restaurants and minutes by car to many others. We cooked most meals and this condo's kitchen was very well equipped to do so. We would definitely stay here again.

One thing that would be nice is a set of sharp knifes or a knife sharpener. We tried to fillet a fish and the knives were extraordinarily dull. Also an upgrade to a smart TV that allows for streaming would be appreciated.

Quick walk to the beach. The grilling station is spotless. Close to everything you would need on vacation.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is in a good location and haas a nice view of the ocean. However the living room furniture is very uncomfortable and inadequate. There is only one chair that is suitable for sitting. Also the beach furniture is in terrible shape and the umbrella is bent and unusable. All the beach equipment should be replaced. We had to buy glasses as mason jars were provided for drinking.

Reviewer Comments: We had a nice stay but were a little disappointed at the lack of cleaning supplies such as dish soap, dish cloths etc. We stayed in this exact same unit 2 years ago and the items were available then. As well, the beach chairs this time were in very poor condition and the beach umbrella was bent and hard to put up. Ironically, we were the ones who purchased the umbrella at Costco last visit and left it in the cupboard for others to use.Otherwise the complex is still a wonderful place to stay.

Maui Vacation

The condo was better than described. Very clean and updated. Both bedrooms had wall air conditioning units which was perfect for our July vacation. Couldn’t have asked for a better location. The unit was right across the street from a beautiful beach park where dozens of people gathered to watch the sunset every night. If I’m lucky enough to get back to Maui, I would definitely rent here again.

We have been staying within these condo units for many years, but this is the first time we rented a 2 bedroom. The king size beds made it a very cozy, comfortable stay for the entire family.

Enough beach chairs, towels, coolers & boards for 2 adults & 2 kids. Short walk to restaurants Moose, Fred's & Coconuts. Happy Hour 4-7p. On staff service provides all help when needed.

The unit was sparkling clean and well equipped with the essentials and more . Wish we had time to use the beach gear! It was hot but we found fans in the bedrooms and used them in the living room. Each bedroom had a wall A/C unit. I would recommend the complex for its location near shops and restaurants in keihi.

Reviewer Comments: Love the Hale Kamaole condos enough that this is our second stay--came with our large mainland family to join our Maui cousins in bringing my MIL's ashes--she was an 8th generation Maui girl--to her final resting place at St Anthony's in Wailuku. While I love-love-love these condos I am repeatedly disappointed in the beach supplies. I have a condo in Oceanside that I restock every year with new beach chairs, a good quality beach umbrella and two high quality boogie boards. I check with the property manager and the renters frequently to ensure my unit stays well stock as I have repeat customers and I want them to have a nice vacation at my condo. Every other year I need to restock things by mid July and I'm happy to do this as it's a small price to pay for good repeat customers that value my condo. This does not seem to be the approach here. Our first stay we had to beg housekeeping and front office staff for beach supplies and actually went to Costco ourselves to stock the condo. This time--with our second stay--the beach supplies were even worse! This 2 bedroom unit had one tiny broke-assed umbrella, rusty chairs half of which were broken and bent-up cheap boogie boards. Talked with front desk first day and they said they would leave housekeeping a note to see if they can trade out some supplies with a better stocked condo. Nothing. Was able to talk to a wonderful staffer in a golf cart who obtained boogie boards and a rusty/hard to use but at least large umbrella. I went to Costco and bought more supplies--again! Who wants to make a Costco run during a vacation? This time I did not leave them behind but gave them away to our Maui cousins. Also, our upstairs drain was clogged from the word go--you would think whomever was cleaning the condo would have noticed it was clogged. Took a couple days to get a guy out there with a snake to clear it. It didn't bother me as we had the downstairs shower, but it got stinky after a couple days.

TERRIFIC REMODEL, GREAT LOCATION

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: HK311 is the most updated unit in Hale Kamaole. It had to taken down to the studs and completely redone. New everything and a convenient second floor location with an elevator steps away. Across the street from one on Maui's best beaches, a short walk to shops and restaurants. Good view from the (smallish) lanai. Quiet, except for the birds and the power gardeners. Flat screens in both bedrooms, and a huge one in the living room. Kitchen all new. Subway tiled and wood laminate floors. The only obvious lack is places to put shampoo etc. in the showers. Two bedrooms + two baths provide a lot of flexibility. Nice pool, but we never used it. Tennis court, but no one seems to use it. Hawaii Moons health foods and a Foodland a short drive away.
