Maui temperatures seem to keep going up so please note Kama'ole Sands 1-405 has a "three zone split air conditioning system". When the trade winds aren't blowing, you'll be glad 1-405 will be a cool place for you to recharge for the next day!

So, Kama'ole Sands. This is a great resort in a great area; and it's across the street from one of Maui's best beaches. If you are looking for a beach resort to create Maui memories, this is the place.

Yes, the picture of the courtyard and ocean was taken from the 4th floor lanai of our building one Hawaiian retreat. The view of the fountains, gardens and ocean is spectacular from our relaxing vacation home.

Once you visit this beautiful complex you will see why we emphasize the building one location. Close to everything in the complex, but far enough away to not hear the beach traffic.

Little extras make for better memories. Our assigned parking is in front of our building, many are not. Building one is conveniently located near the administration building, tennis courts and barbecue area. Oh yes, we are just seconds away from the pool area but not so close that you'll hear the noise.

Our Hawaiian home comes furnished.* We have a full size washer and dryer, a queen bed and bathroom on the main floor, a king bed and bathroom in the loft area and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room along with TV's in the loft, main floor bedroom and a new (Dec. 2023) TV in the living room.

Had a great time. The ocean view was amazing and you could see whales right from the units lanai. The host was very helpful. It is an older unit but nice clean and the grounds were a great place for families. My boys played a lot of ping pong, enjoyed the pool and the unit had beach chairs and an umbrella that we put to good use. It also had beach towels which was nice. Would go again and the location was perfect. Right across from a beautiful beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Sands. The condo had everything we needed and the balcony was spacious and had a great view of the ocean. The grounds were beautiful and the complex was convenient to activities, restaurants and several beaches. The condo also had AC which is a must in July! Larry was awesome to work with. Highly recommend!

Our family with two little kids stayed had a great time. We really loved the close access to the beach (quick walk down path and across street), walkability to coffee shops and restaurants/shops, beautiful views of ocean and sunset from the lanai, pool and grill amenities, and beautiful grounds. We also really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and toys! It made for a very nice stay. Minor critique is that the upstairs mattress could use upgrading. Overall, we would like to return!

Our family had a great time in Maui. The condo had everything we needed for our family of five. The lanai easily accommodated all of us at the table and there was also a lounger. All lanais are not same size in this complex so do your research. Our host was great with all communications. This unit is closest to the courts if you like tennis and pickleball.

Aloha from the SF bay area! We enjoy traveling and spending time with our two grown children. We recently purchased our condo, plan on visiting several times a year and investing in an already wonderful vacation home. We wish we could be in Maui year round. Until then, we hope you enjoy our home as much as we do and make many wonderful memories here.

Why they chose this property

We were immediately attracted to Kamaole Sands with it's beautiful courtyard, the casual, beach town feel of Kihei, fabulous beach just steps from our front door with frequent sea turtle sightings. Our condo in building 1 offers the best ocean view with an extra large lanai. Just a few minutes away in Wailea, we also enjoy walking on a beautiful path along the beach in the mornings and restaurants with spectacular views in the evenings.

What makes this property unique

1. New air conditioning throughout the unit August 2019.
2. Reserved parking just steps from the elevator. Nice when unloading.
3. Building well situated between ocean, pool, tennis courts and administration bldg.
4. Barbecue area right next to our building.
5. Large lanai with a partial ocean view and nice view of fountains.
