Great place to stay in the Upper Valley. Close to Woodstock, Quechee, and Hanover. Access to many, many trails and water. Great place to stay with a dog who likes to swim, since the house is right on the river, with access close by. House is neat and comfortable, with everything you need. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the Upper Valley.

This house was so lovely - super clean and with so many windows that allowed us to see the water and trees outside. We were there to see it all covered with snow (and it was gorgeous). I want to see the view out those windows in the other three seasons!

Like the surrounding villages, a great mix of old and new, rustic and refined. A treat to travel through a covered bridge to reach the place. Clean! Comfortable. Great access to Woodstock center and Dartmouth College. A wonderful home base for a visit to Vermont/New Hampshire.

Thank you for the review. We’re glad you enjoyed the mix of rustic and refined, the covered-bridge approach, and that the home was clean and comfortable. Happy it served as a convenient base for visiting Woodstock center and Dartmouth College. Hope to host you again.
I can’t say enough good things about my stay! Communication was clear and prompt and they were happy to answer any question that I had. The house was amazing! It was very clean and very thoughtfully appointed throughout. Every room oozed with historic charm. We were very comfortable during our stay and even more appreciative that they were welcoming to our dog. The location was very private but very close to town at the same time. We got a fair amount of snow during our stay and they came to plow the driveway and laid down ash for traction in the mornings. We were also provided a shovel and salt so we could clear around our car and the porch. Thank you for such a great experience. We would happily stay here again no hesitation.
