La Ida Beach Condominiums is a gated, beach front property, with private underground parking and beach access for guest use only. Gate opens directly onto the sand with the water 30 feet away!

The apartment is a two bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom, full kitchen with all appliances, dining area, living room with direct, private beach access. It sleeps between 1-5 people. Master bedroom with a king sized bed, private terrace, en suite bathroom. Guest bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bathroom. Half bathroom in hallway with washer/dryer.
Wi-fi, beach chairs, bath and beach towels are included. Front facing terrace gives a stunning and rare view of Simpson Bay Lagoon, while rear balconies open up to the pristine and beautiful turquoise beaches. Walking distance to town.

This was the most beautiful and enjoyable accommodations. The place was much larger than expected. The furniture was modern, the beds extremely comfortable. It was definitely a great location right on the beach. We enjoyed getting up and having tea and breakfast on the balcony while watching the boats sailing on the water. Also watching the sunset from the balcony was amazing. I must include that the owner was available 24/7. We had a minor glitch with a power outage and Marianna was quick to assist us. The problem was not anything that was her fault but she made calls and help was there quickly and problem solved.This is a place I would absolutely enjoy staying my next visit to St Maarten. Marianna thank you for allowing us to have a wonderful vacation.

Roxanne was a superb guest, I can't say enough about her! She was communicative and just a pleasure on a whole. There was a power problem and she was extremely patient and kind about it until the power company arrived. She left our home immaculate, we welcome her back anytime...thank you!

Great stay

We had a great stay in this condo. Check-in was easy, communication with the owner was great, and it was clean. Location was excellent, within walking distance of lots of restaurants. The beach out front was absolutely perfect, and not at all busy.

Great spot. We could walk right off our balcony to the sand. Beautiful view/sunsets. Unit was clean and well maintained. Owner was great at communication. I will definitely stay here again. Loved it.

Excellent location for a stopover before our flight home. Property is right on the beach (and close to the airport) with close access to many amenities within walking distance. Property Manager was flexible with the check-out time which was appreciated considering our late afternoon flight.

If I could give this 1000 stars, I would. This condo was absolutely immaculate, gorgeous and the ocean view was beyond stunning. The balcony was huge and private and we couldn’t believe the views! Even more gorgeous then photos can capture! Breathtaking! The beach is so private and we loved that there were chairs, towels, and beach floats available for us! The cross breeze in the unit was heavenly. The AC’s worked awesome but we didn’t even need them! The king bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in and the pillows were luxurious! We loved that we could walk to all the bars and restaurants! The views from the bay were so spectacular. Our host was top notch and so unbelievably responsive. She even gave us her personal cell phone number. She went way above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We are already making plans to return! Weather was perfect, water was safe and so warm! Best vacation ever! Paradise!

Loved this property. Check in was just as described. Extremely clean. Directly on the beach with direct access. WiFi worked great. We didn’t figure out the television, but honestly didn’t try hard because the view from the porch was spectacular. Would 100% stay here again!

Very clean condo. 2 bedrooms each with it's own full bathroom. There's a half bath with a laundry in the hallway. Seating for 4 in the covered balcony. When you step off the balcony you are on the beach. Each end of the beach has a restaurant; Secret seafood and bar and Mary's Boon. 2 small blocks in front of the condo you'll find restaurant's, bars, grocery stores, casinos etc. If we needed anything Marianna the host was very helpful.

Location, location, location

When we booked this property, we were hoping for a nice place near a beach. A cute, well-appointed apartment with waves breaking on the sand 20 yards from the apartment’s covered back deck was our reality. The view of the bay filled with sail boats and yachts never got old, by day or night. Many restaurants, grocery markets and a casino are as close as two blocks away. It was a perfect location for our winter getaway vacation. Our contact Marianna was very accommodating, prompt with answers to any questions we had and provided other useful information to enhance our stay in Sint Maarten. We would definitely stay there again.

Great views

The views are unbeatable! We never got tired of watching the yachts and sail traffic in the Harbor. This condo is within walking distance to many bars and restaurants in Simpson Bay and also the Police Station pick-up location for many sailing or boating adventures. The neighbors were friendly and the underground parking was great. The cross breezes were also great (when there was a wind). You do occasionally hear plane traffic from the airport but that did not bother us. The only thing we missed was more outdoor seating (there were 2 chairs but there were 4 of us) and maybe a small table ir two.

Beautiful and As Advertised!

Ya know how it is with these vacation rentals; hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Well, when you rent this property, along with the stunning views, the easy beach access, the proximity to the casino & resorts with enough distance for quiet evenings (& mornings), and the cleanliness of the unit, you are also renting peace of mind. Avoid the stress of wondering whether the neighborhood is safe, or if the property is well represented by the posted photos, by staying here, where you’ll feel & be safe, and the unit is even better than the pictures show. The host is extremely attentive, and the on-site staff are ready to handle an issues that may arise, although we didn’t experience any. When the winds next bring us to SXM, we’ll surely rebook here!

WHAT A VIEW!!

4 of us friends stayed in the unit to celebrate 2 birthdays. What a perfect getaway it was!! The condo is right on the water and the views are spectacular. There is nothing better than listening to the waves day and night. The patio space was the perfect place to enjoy our meals and watch the sunset. You can even see Saba Island from the patio. The condo was clean and the bedrooms were spacious. Being steps away from the beach made it easy to swim and enjoy the crystal blue waters. The condo is just a short drive to the airport and within walking distance to several Simpson Bay restaurants. Looking forward to returning one day!

I stayed here w my family of 6, and we were perfectly comfortable. The building sits literally on the beach, so there was never any hassle even if we forgot something in our room. Everything is in close proximity he, so we barely ever used our rental car. Would definitely go back!

Marianna. What can I say. My family of 6 are home now. We can't stop talking about our La Ida trip! From the moment you greeted us until the second we left the gate, the only word I have is IMPRESSIVE! Entering our unit each day not having to use a key was our favorite part! I've stayed at Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton's. The bright, airy, newly appointed furniture and spotless conditions were incomparable to those types of places. Everything from the soft sheets, comfy towels and awesome leather couch to the batteries we needed for my sons beach toy made it so easy. Sitting on the balcony swing overlooking the pristine beach listening to my own music thanks to ur Bluetooth Bose system was fabulous! We have a huge family and are definitely coming back to ur perfect place, perfect beach, and perfect pricing. Thanks for all the dinner recommendations. The burger at Buccaneer and the chicken parm at Isola was great. They all know you around the island so dropping ur name didn't hurt either! Until next time, xo from our family to yours. AG
