We had a wonderful long weekend get away. The grandsons loved the pool, the hot tub, the park across the street, and all the fun activities on the mountain. The kitchen had everything we needed. Great tech amenities for recharging. Lovely deck for watching sun sets. We all had a great time. Thank you Becky .

We absolutely enjoyed our time in Winterpark. Having been previous owners at another location, this just reminded me about what I love about Winterpark. And the view is to die for any event at the Park.

I sincerely apologize that the pool wasn't heated for you. We will get in touch with the HOA immediately to investigate what went wrong with the heating, as it is indeed supposed to be heated. I wish you had contacted us so we could have tried to resolve the issue while you were here. I hope you enjoyed the condo and the remainder of your stay. I am sorry for any inconvenience the pool may have caused!

This was our second time staying and had another wonderful experience. Very clean well kept unit in an excellent location. Walking distance to many local restaurants or summer music at the ampatheater. Also a big park and biking trails for kids across the street. We can't wait to stay again.

We've rented a number of homes through VRBO over the years and I have to say that this is one of the nicest, most well-appointed we've stayed at. Not only does it have everything but there were some really nice touches - e.g. wireless phone chargers on the nightstands, higher-end shampoo & conditioner in the bathrooms, comfortable beds with memory foam pillows, just to name a few - the kinds of things that makes it feel like a home and not a rental. The location is fantastic being right next to the park and lots of restaurants, bars, shops that are all within walking distance. The hosts were also easy to work with and very responsive. We're already talking about booking a trip back to Winter Park and staying at the same place again.

About the host

Hosted by Becky

Host profile image
Hi my name is Becky! My husband and I live in NJ with our 2 little girls. I love cooking, baking, running, hiking and spending time with my family. We host a lot of friends and family at our house in NJ and love being able to provide that memorable and joyful experience for others while they are on vacation. Trailhead Lodge is owned by our family and my husbands business partner.

Why they chose this property

We absolutely love this location in Winter Park since you can walk to everything that downtown has to offer with plenty of walkable dinning options, shopping and coffee houses. Even though you are in downtown Winter Park it still feels like you are in a mountain getaway space!

What makes this property unique

This area of winter park is unique since it is right next Hideaway Park which has an amphitheatre which you can watch concerts from the deck, a playground for the kids, a small sledding hill in the park and a free shuttle 1 block away. The development also has a year round heated pool which is rare, hot tub, and a clubhouse which includes a pool table, lounge area, TV area, kitchen and small gym.
