Perfect getaway, secluded yet close enough for easy day trips. The river was a nice touch as well. Don’t miss out on Gibbs Gardens only a few miles away.
It was so nice to pull up into a beautiful house with a creek below after a long drive .The home is so cute and cozy.I loved just looking at the peaceful creek especially from the little tree house porch.
Beautiful location loved the creek view from the living room. The outside deck is comfy and well appointed. There is even an elevated screened porch with seating. Sarah was easy to contact and answered all queries quickly. Perfect spot for a couple, or friends since the couch is a pullout bed.
Location was great, not too far from restaurant, grocery store, Gibbs Garden, gas station, shower could have been cleaner, little bit of mold, the screen-in porch was amazing, great view of the stream, we was not able to sit out on the deck, there had been a storm the night before, so lots of tree debris, the kitchen was great, had everything we needed, internet was fast, place was guiet, host was very helpful, great washer and dryer, only thing was the soap dispenser area was a little dirty, other than that the whole place was clean, no problem with the dishes, yes I would recommend this place.

Thanks for the great review, so glad you enjoyed your trip! The shower has some staining along the caulk lines just due to age, we can assure that there is no mold😊Thanks for the heads up in the washer soap dispenser, will make sure to give it an extra clean!
The property was nice. Most of time the quiet. There were a couple of times that the roadway had some loud noises. The sound of the creek was nice. However, it was more of a walk from the cabin than anticipated. The host was kind, but did take a little bit to respond to messages. I wish there would have been working lights for nighttime so that you could see the creek. Also, I would suggest ice trays. Other than that, pleasant stay. Very clean place.

Thanks for your review! We have working lights all around the house, There are no lights along the creek as there is no electricity nor would we want to create light pollution to interfere with the night sky view! I do apologize if I was not prompt in my replies, I generally reply within an hour to questions or needs!
If I could live in this little cabin, I happily would. It was so cozy working with a view of the creek. The creek sounded beautiful from the patio as well. I ventured down to the creek and enjoyed sitting on the rocks and enjoying the views and peaceful sound of nature. I look forward to future stays!!
This is the second time we’ve stayed at this beautiful cabin, and it’s one of my top favorite places to stay! Sarah is an incredible host. She is accommodating, thoughtful, and reliable. The creek at the bottom of the property is so relaxing. The reservoir just up the road is a great place to kayak, fish, or eat a picnic lunch at. The whole cabin is cozy, safe, and enjoyable. We look forward to staying here again in the future!
