Relax with the whole family at this peaceful 2nd floor apt. Family owned for over 60 years. Renovated in 2024 with all new bathrooms, laundry and kitchen.

Enjoy the large screened porch with ocean breezes and great sunsets. You're only 5 houses from the beach with no roads to cross! Outside grills and fenced backyard along with an outside shower make this easy to enjoy.

You'll be 3 miles from the downtown boardwalk and restaurants and 3 miles to First Landing State Park where you can hike, bike and kayak.

I would highly recommend renting this beach apartment. The owners have thought of everything! The kitchen and linens were all well stocked and we did not need to bring any linens including pillows. The private access into the apartment and parking right in the driveway is so convenient. Access to the beach is just feet away and the drive downtown was very easy. We had 5 of us staying and the 3 bedroom, 3 bathrooms was perfect. We will absolutely be back to visit again!

The house was great. Perfect location and comfortable furnishings. Lots of kitchen utensils though we only did breakfast and lunch at the house. The only issue was the cleanliness when we arrived. I admit that I am a stickler for cleanliness. A few of the table surfaces had not been wiped down, including the shower shelf, which I did soon after we arrived. It felt like the cleaner rushed through to get the job done and didn't pay attention to cleaning the drawers in the fridge and the toaster oven tray, which had leftover food. In general, people don't want to use someone's opened salsa or a shower loofah from a previous stay. I would also say that the linens on the beds have seen better days--they could use a refresh. At the end of the day though, this place was great to have a family. We felt comfortable enough to make this place home during our stay and we were in the perfect spot for walks to the beach in the morning and swimming with kids in the evening. The entry bench with place for sandy shoes was a perfect touch.

This beach house has been our family’s summer place since the 1960’s. I grew up being here in the summers. A short 5 houses and no roads to cross to get to the beach.

Why they chose this property

The quiet North End of Va Beach is 100% residential and yet only three miles from the hotels, entertainment and restaurants. Our street dead ends into the beach so kids can go to the beach without crossing a road.

A “feeder road” along Atlantic Ave provides a perfect place to walk, bike or run for miles safely.

What makes this property unique

We still have a large backyard and screened in porch! The ability for children to safely walk to the beach 5 houses down the street that dead ends into the beach is magical.
