Had all of the comforts of home. We were all very comfortable and felt safe. We wished we could had stayed much longer. Pretty much anything we needed was provided. Grocery store near by. Beach! It was awesome!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our initial impression of the unit walking in was excellent - a cold wall of air greeted us.Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill after that. Here are a list of problems we encountered during our stay:1. Only a couple rolls of toilet paper for a 5-night stay (we remedied this by getting more from the rental office);2. There was a dustpan but no broom to sweep sand up (again, rental office found one for us);3. Not enough sheets for all the beds in the unit (yep...rental office again);4. The sofa bed was in absolutely abysmal condition. Each and every spring could be felt and even the kids complained about having to sleep there;5. While the electrical outlets had electricity, they were so old and in such poor repair that you couldn't securely plug anything into them - whatever you plugged in ended up falling out;6. Both the kitchen and bathroom sinks dripped water continuously, needed new seals long ago;7. The one bathroom in the unit cycled on and off every few minutes to re-fill the tank because there was a leak somewhere in the unit; and8. The overall cleanliness of the unit was lacking - dust everywhere.Overall, this place was poorly maintained and not in very good condition. I would avoid it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd time staying at Sandpiper Cove and other than the cooler than normal weather we once again had a great time. So much so that we are planning to return again next year. This leads me to the one area I believe Sandpiper could improve on. We had heard that those renting for 2 months and wanted to return to the same unit were allowed to book early. We inquired about rebooking our unit for next year around Feb 22nd, and we were told that we couldn’t book for 6 weeks until Mar 8th. On Feb 29th we went back into the office to inquire if our unit was still available, and were told that it was, and we could rebook it now. There we people beside us that were also rebooking for next year... and they were trying to book 2043. When they realized that was our unit they let us have it, but if we were 5 minutes later we may not be returning to SandpiperTo sum it up Sandpiper should be consistent in the messages they are delivering to the renters, and not change them midstream.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was my very first experience leaving the state of Texas. It was my boyfriend and 2 grandkids. We were immediately pleased with the condo as we walked in the door. It absolutely had all of the comforts of home. Fully stocked kitchen. Very comfortable sleeping. We loved the huge deck. The view wasn't too bad. And we were within walking distance of the beach. We cooked , we watched television at night, had breakfast on the big outdoor deck. It was just wonderful. We would love to stay there again. Oh. The whole place was very clean.

The place is ok however I will not book again

Why will I not book this place again? Because; first of all, when checking the receptionist forgot to give me the door code so I had to came back and get it. Secondly, the place does not have the necessary utensils to clean, wash dishes etc. And tird I did not like the fact that laundry is in the bedroom but everything else it's ok!
