About this property
Delightful gypsy bungalow located in the bewitching mountain village of Madrid!
Experience the enchanting Turquoise Trail in a unique and intimate way! The bungalow is on the bustling main street of historic Madrid, yet our guests enjoy the privacy of a fenced-in property. Covered front porch and large side deck to gaze at the stars or experience the majestic desert sunsets. Smoking outside is allowed; there are two dispensaries in town as well.
Inside, the wood and terracotta tile floors complement the whimsical living room, welcoming dining room, and chef-style kitchen. Two cozy bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a California king-size bed. The full bathroom with a shower and bathtub.
Magical Madrid is the most bewitching ghost town with its own radio station, KMRD broadcasts 64 live programs every week, curated and hosted by more than 70 DJs from the Madrid, Cerrillos, and 87010 community. Mine Shaft Tavern "roadhouse" with a deck overlooking town, serving lunch & dinner with a full bar. Winner of the Santa Fe Green Chile Cheeseburger Smackdown! Live Music Thursday through Sunday & 12 local brews on Tap! Charmed from the "ghost town" museum to Jezebel Soda Fountain, where folks experience the original soda fountain from the 1920's.
Shugarman’s Little Chocolate Organic ingredients and exotic flavors leave you begging for more at this hidden chocolate oasis. Galleries, coffee shop, restaurants, general store, and more!
About 30 minute drive to Santa Fe and minutes away from Ojo Caliente, steeped in history and tradition, Ojo Caliente is one of the country’s oldest health spas. Tucked between rugged desert cliffs and a cottonwood-lined bosque, hot springs await soakers seeking healing and respite. Ojo Caliente is one of the only hot springs spas and resorts on Earth featuring four healing minerals: Arsenic, Lithia, Soda and Iron in naturally sulfur-free waters. Soak your soul in our twelve communal hot springs, or book a private tub for a truly tranquil experience.

We are excited to share the wonderful Turquoise Trail experience as a family managed property. Tommy grew up in the Sandia mountains and his co-host and daughter Alycia was born and raised in Tijeras. We love this community and are so excited for our guests to have a unique and wonderful time
