Great property, great location. Host was very helpful and cabin was so comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay. Location was near many outdoor activities.
We absolutely loved our stay!! We couldn’t have picked a better place it was easy to find but we felt like we had our own little private area. Our dog Maggie loved the place as well!! We will definitely recommend to others :)
This was a beautiful place to Home base while we were motorcycle riding the area for the week. The owner stopped by to cut the grass and we hadn't a great visit. He is a wonderful person and we enjoyed the visit. Overall, the house was great and we would definitely go back.
My wife and I stayed at this property for a well-deserved vacation. I can't say enough good things! Communication with the owner, Clint, was excellent. He was quick to respond to the booking and at the check-out. The house was immaculate and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I was very nice to be able to sit on the front porch or the roomy deck out back. The rooms were sized appropriately for the house and the bed we used was quite comfortable. It was far enough away from Harrison to give one that easy, secluded feeling, yet close enough to run for groceries or go to JJ's Buffalo Bar & Grill for an evening out.We recommend this property without hesitation and will definitely book again the next time we're in the area!
We enjoyed our stay. Dis some sight seeing and relaxing. Convenient bar and grille just up the road. Plenty of kitchenware so we ate in as well. Property just as presented. Enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. Convenient to the Buffalo river or for riding your motorcycle through the mountains. Nice and cleanWe had to stay an extra day due to car trouble. Owner was very accommodating and made it easy for us. Very responsive. Would recommend

This is the first negative review I’ve ever left for a vacation rental, and I don’t do so lightly. The cabin itself is cute, and we chose it for a quiet country stay. Unfortunately, the outdoor condition made that difficult. The grass around the cabin was ankle-deep and clearly had not been mowed before our arrival, so we spent far more time inside than planned. When I contacted the owner, I expected a simple acknowledgment and apology. Instead, I was told there had been a lot of rain, the grass was growing quickly, and mowing was scheduled for Monday—after our stay.I understand weather can affect maintenance, but nearby properties did not appear to have the same issue. Regardless of the reason, guests should not arrive to find the property unprepared and be told it will be addressed after they leave. The outdoor trash cans were also already full, leaving us nowhere to dispose of our trash.I’m not asking for compensation, and we still enjoyed parts of our trip. However, guests pay for the entire property, not just the interior, and it should be properly prepared before arrival. A simple apology would have gone a long way.The cabin has potential, but the outdoor maintenance fell below reasonable expectations.

Thanks again for staying with us. I wanted to address the issues that you mentioned on your review as we strive to provide an excellent stay and are sorry we did not meet that expectation. Regarding the grass - Unfortunately it is impossible to mow the grass before each stay. We do recognize that it was taller than normal due to the rain but it is on a mowing schedule and is maintained regularly. Regarding the trash -. The trash service runs on tuesdays. Your stay was a friday to Sunday. The prior guest put trash in the trash can the day before your arrival. It was fine to leave the trash inside the house as we discussed.
The rental property was GREAT! Just know there is an Old Cemetery right next to the property but we would stay again. My husband and two dogs Chuy & Piper stayed a few days. Check out the Buffalo River when you stay it’s EXCELLENT!
This place was great! The house has a great wide open floor plan, which was wonderful for our toddlers. We loved hanging out in the deck in the evenings, and our dog had plenty of space to explore on the property! You get privacy while also being close to the main road. Close to lots of beautiful hikes and close to river access and nearby campgrounds. The property owner was great with their communication regarding the property, and check in/out was seamless! The house was very nice and our kids are already asking when we’re going back! The roses outside smelled lovely!
