I've been to this property twice before and loved it. This time, I brought my mom. Private; remote; beautiful views; clean; fantastic deck; just the right size for two people. I will be back.

This cabin was the perfect place for rest and relaxation from our busy life. The setting was absolutely beautiful! We couldn’t see any other houses, just wonderful views and wildlife. The kitchen had everything we needed to make easy meals so we didn’t have to go into town for every meal. The bed was comfortable and the wood burning stove made the cabin very cozy! We enjoyed sitting on the deck reading and listening/watching the wildlife. We hiked the area around the cabin and also took the short drive to Mueller State Park for several hikes. We are looking forward to returning to this cabin in the newer future!

Peaceful retreat

The cabin was just what we were looking for-- a mountain view with no close neighbors. But we did have neighbors visiting: deer eating aspen saplings and birds calling. It was peaceful sitting on the deck and listening to the aspen and pine trees in the wind. We did have difficulty finding the cabin, but the host responded immediately our phone call and sent a pin which was much more helpful than Google maps. A local also informed us of the turn we'd missed. Key takeaway from that experience: check in early (we were on a motorcycle, it was almost dark, and we weren't sure if our maps working. They weren't. ) and remember to ask the host for a pin to the location. Hwy 5 is north, not south, then stay on 51 when it breaks off Hwy 5. Other than that, the only other point I'd make is the host's description of the steps to the loft bed is accurate. They are steep and require slow descent.
