Welcome to Hamilton Cottage – a cozy, lakefront A-frame retreat perfect for relaxation and adventure. Enjoy direct access to the water with included kayaks and paddle boards, unwind by the fire pit under the stars, and take in beautiful lake views from multiple decks. Whether you're sipping coffee at sunrise or roasting marshmallows at night, this charming escape offers everything you need for a memorable getaway.
Tucked away in a quiet inlet on Lake Hamilton, our cozy A-frame cottage offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to the best the area has to offer.
Your stay at Hamilton Cottage offers the following:
AMENITIES:
- Multi-level deck with stunning lake views
- Private access to lake, just steps from the property
- Private use of kayaks and paddleboards
- Fire pit with complementary wood and fire starter
- Year-round heating and cooling
- Complimentary wifi
- Complimentary use of washer and dryer
- A fully-equipped kitchen, including an oven, stovetop, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, cutlery, plates, bowls, pots and pans, drinking glasses, coffee mugs, wine glasses, outdoor eatery, and more.
- TV in the master bedroom.
- 4-burner propane grill
- Accommodations for little ones, including a pack and play toys, and more.
- All bedroom linens and towels
- Regular trash and recycling services; the receptacles are at the front of the property.

- Hikes for miles: Pick your choosing among scores of nearby trails. Whatever your preferences for distance and difficulty, there's a scenic hike for you!
- Breweries/Wineries/Cideries: Don't miss Treehouse, one of the most popular craft breweries in the nation and an absolute must for any beer enthusiast. Oakland Farm & Brewery offers live weekend music in the warmer months and food trucks, and have an Artisan Fair the first Friday of every month from May - October. Also nearby are Altruist Brewery, Stafford Cidery, and Brimfield Winery & Cidery.
- Old Sturbridge Village: A must visit! Showcasing life in colonial New England, see animals, pastures, a Blacksmith, shoe cobbler, and more! Be sure to check out their seasonal events.
- Farmers Markets: Warmer months bring fresh veggies, fruit and meat to nearby Sturbridge and Brimfield.
- Brush It Off: Pottery and painting studio with activities for all ages.
- Into the Grain Axe Throwing: Unleash your inner warrior and experience the thrill of axe throwing.

- Lunch and Dinner: Maine Attraction offers seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and ice cream at the lake. Nearby, you can't go wrong with any of Condesa (Mexican), The Duck (upscale American), Sturbridge Porterhouse (steakhouse), Teddy G's (pub & grill), Baba or Kaizen (sushi), B.T.'s Smokehouse (BBQ), or 413 On Main (charcuterie and sandwiches).
GROCERY SHOPPING:
- The cottage is 10-15 minutes from Stop & Shop and Shaws.
- Prepared Food: Micknucks, a community favorite, serves up wraps and other grab and go options. They also have a selection of wine and beer and other picnic staples. Hearthstone Market offers fresh, home-cooked meals to-go that you can heat up and enjoy!
There is a welcome packet outlining all of the above at the cottage and we are more than happy to provide recommendations!

The cottage has a driveway that comfortably accommodates 3 - 4 cars. The neighborhood is friendly and peaceful.
Other things to note
Pets are not allowed at the cottage and there is a $500 charge if we find pet hair/dander or other signs of a pet being at the cottage. Thank you for respecting this policy.
