About this property
2-bedroom guesthouse in Tucson, Arizona
Welcome to Casita Tridentata, a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom guest home located on a quiet 6.5-acre horse sanctuary just 10 minutes from Saguaro National Park West, 30 minutes from Tucson International Airport and 20 minutes from Downtown and University of Arizona.
The Space
Casita Tridentata is designed with simple, natural materials—limestone walls, soft lighting, and organic linens—to create a calming space that feels connected to the desert. Whether you’re here to hike, study, write, unplug, or just enjoy some quiet, this is a place to rest and reset.
Living Area
The main living space has two cozy areas. One features a comfy oversized chair facing the desert—great for reading or watching the horses from afar. There’s also a plush sofa and coffee table for relaxing, plus a small collection of books, records, and incense if you want to settle in for some quiet time. A small dining table with chairs provides a more formal place to sit.
Kitchen
The kitchen is set up for light, plant-based meals. It includes a Wolf induction range, Sub-Zero mini fridge, and limestone countertops. You’ll find quality basics like cutting boards, knives, and serving dishes. There’s no cookware for full meals, but it’s perfect for salads or snacks. We also provide local coffee and a small tea selection.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Each bedroom features an Avocado mattress with linen sheets and a mix of pillows for a good night’s sleep. The bathrooms are spa-inspired with limestone showers, Brizo fixtures, and fragrance-free products. Everything is designed to be simple, comfortable, and sensitive.
Outdoor Space
You’ll have a private, screened-in patio with views of the horses and surrounding desert. There’s a saltwater pool to enjoy and a walking labyrinth on the property if you want to stretch your legs or reflect.
What to Expect at the Sanctuary
This is a working sanctuary, and our ranch hands are on-site daily from 7:30 AM to noon to care for the animals and land.
Guest areas are clearly marked, and we ask that you don’t enter the horse enclosures or main house.
Two friendly dogs live here. They’ll either be leashed or in their yard during your stay.
Neighborhood Details
The sanctuary feels remote, but it’s settled at the end of a road in a friendly neighborhood. Our neighbors are on large lots that provide privacy, however you may occasionally hear kids playing, a rooster in the morning, or the sounds of desert wildlife at night. Saguaro National Park West and the Sweetwater Preserve trailhead are just a short drive.
Whether you’re here for adventure, rest, study, or a little of both, Casita Tridentata offers a quiet, welcoming place to stay in the Sonoran Desert.
