Welcome to Boggs' North Lodge! Roomy 3000 sq.ft. 4 bedroom/2 bath home overlooking beautiful, all- sports, Stoneledge Lake. Our family coulodn't be more excited to share this magnificent location with you. This is just the place for a large family, group, or couples wanting to get away together. Our home will sleep 12-15 comfortably.
Our open kitchen, dining & living area on the main floor features a gas log fireplace, a vaulted ceiling, and triple patio doors for, what has to be, the best view over the lake! The patio doors open to a large upper deck where you take in a Cadillac sunrise or watch the activity on the beach. To give ultimate comfort, and an 'Up North' lodge feeling, we have it furnished with rustic log furniture and a 51" plasma flat screen TV. To complete the home, we have also brought in La-Z-Boy sofas & recliners for your complete comfort.

Tasteful accents & decorations will compliment the furnishings, and meticulous housekeeping will make you feel right at home.

Our kitchen features beautiful oak cabinets-fully equipped with quality pots, pans, utensils & dishes. It includes a full size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffemaker, and toaster. The counter-top bar will seat 3 and the dining table will seat 8-10.

Bedroom#1 has a king size log bed and a beautiful lake view with private HD flatscreen TV.
Bedroom #2 has a queen size log bed with a flatscreen TV.
Bedroom #3 has 2 twin size log bunks(sleeps 4) and also has a lake view.
Bedroom #4 has 1 full size log bunk (sleeps 4).
There are 2 full bathrooms, one on each level of the home.
All bedding and bath linens provided.

The lower level features a large, open recreation area. It has 2 large patio doors for 'walk out' convenience. The doors open to a huge lower patio (60 ft long) and to another beautiful lake view. The rec room furnishings include 3 log futons(with inner spring mattresses). A fourth TV, a pool table, and foosball & air hockey tables are located in the rec room as well.

Step out into the 1/2 acre manicured lawn that has 122ft of sandy beach front. The lake is shallow near the shore with a sandy bottom...great for swimming and watersports. Beach volleyball, cornhole and a campfire pit are available for guest use. Chaise loungers, lawn chairs, two picnic tables, a 6 person patio set, and a propane Weber BBQ grill are provided for your convenience.

If you are into fishing, you have come to the right lake! Bass, Pike, Perch, and Bluegill are plentiful. A rowboat comes with the rental.

We offer two kayaks, two stand up paddle boards and paddleboat for rent for your enjoyment on the lake.

We are literally minutes from the Fred Meijer Pine trail where your family can enjoy miles of walking, biking or snowmobiing. We are also a short walking distance from the groomed scenic conservacy trail that allows you to explore the areas around our lake.

Cadillac is minutes away from our home for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Fantastic Large Lake house

The property was even better than described and shown in pictures. There were plenty of beds and everything was clean. We loved the huge deck and back porch and the great view down to the lake. We all enjoyed our time staying here and we will definitely book this place again the next time we are in Cadillac!

Weekend Retreat at Stoneledge Lake

Had a wonderful weekend at this well-appointed and beautiful lakefront lodge! Our group of 11 adults had plenty of space to spread out, both indoors and outdoors alike. The property manager was proactive in their communication and clear about both the check-in and checkout processes. We will definitely look to schedule back here in 2025!

Wonderful for annual girls trip

The property was well kept and clean. It accommodated 11 of us very well. Barb communicated with me several times to make sure we were comfortable, gave us dining suggestions and told us of things to do around the area. It was brisk but beautiful sunny fall weather and colors of the trees were gorgeous with beautiful lake views. This was a wonderful place to stay that I would certainly recommend.

Excellent property - Would rent again!

A group of twelve stayed here for our annual golf trip and it was a great experience. The house has a great layout, was extremely clean, and located closely to Cadillac. It has a beautiful view of Stone Ledge Lake, a nice fire pit, and beach volleyball (which we quickly learned we're getting too old to play). The owner/property manager was in constant contact to see if our group had any questions or needed anything, which was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this property if staying in the Cadillac area!

This home is wonderful! Nice large open floor plan with lots of deck space. It was clean with a fully stocked kitchen with enough dishes for our large group of 12. It even had plastic items for kids to use :) Barb responded to any communication quickly and was friendly. We definitely enjoyed the view and hanging out beech side.

Our extended family (5 adults, 4 young children) had a wonderful stay at the Boggs N. Lodge. The house is large, attractive, clean, and well appointed, with great views of the lake. We enjoyed the inside amenities such as the pool table, air hockey, and TVs, as well as the large yard and sandy beach. Our host, Barb, explained in advance that the lake levels were low this summer, so the sandy bottom didn't extend as far as normal into the lake. It still worked fine for the young children to play in, however. There are also very nice beaches at Cadillac and Mitchell Lakes nearby. Barb was very responsive to our questions and left lots of useful information around the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Beach

Our overall experience was great. The openness and flow through the house was awesome.The balconies and porch area’s were perfect for outside activities.The kitchen amenities were great with everything that was available. The base location used for day trips is perfect and close to many things. The cons… the advertised sleeping accommodations needs to be more specific. We were not prepared for the bunk rooms. Lastly.. to have baby gates available for the stairs would have been nice. Still an overall great house and location.

Hello, My name is Tom Boggs! My wife, Barb & I live in Newport, MI, a small farming community just north of Monroe. We have been married 31 years and have 11 children. (5 sons & 6 daughters)

Our children range from 30 to 4 years old. We have a large span of ages to provide entertainment for when we go on vacation.

Why they chose this property

Each summer since Barb and I were married, we have vacationed in various places throughout Michigan. At each destination we dreamed of someday having our own 'cabin on a lake'. Finally in 2011 we were able to make our dream a reality. Needing the space with 11 children, our 'cabin' is more like a 'home'.

When we became serious about looking for a location, we found Cadillac to be the perfect fit for families to vacation. It has activities for all four seasons and is located conveniently from locations such as Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Mackinaw City, and much more!

We chose Stoneledge lake because it offers peace and quiet that only a private lake can bring but the ability to enjoy all sports on the lake. As you can see in our pictures, the view is breathtaking.

We are happy to be able to share a part of our dream and ourselves with our guests.

What makes this property unique

The view from the living room overlooking the lake was the first thing that really made us say 'This is it!' Trying to locate a home large enough that has a big grass yard, sandy beach, all sports lake, and convenience to other attractions is hard to find.

Barb wanted to make sure that we updated the decor since the house was recently renovated. Barb decided to put all new log furniture for a rustic feel along with La-Z-Boy furniture to give it that comfortable 'At Home' feeling.

We also wanted to make sure there were activities right at the lodge. There is swimming, beach volleyball, paddle boat, kayaking, fishing, and sunbathing on the deck or beach. We also have indoor fun such as air hockey, foose ball, pool table, cable tv on a 51' plasma tv, and wifi.

If you want to venture out, take a bike ride down the Meijer Pine Trail. Golf courses abound within minutes from our front door. Maybe skiing is something your family enjoys. Caberfae is minutes away.

The location of the home is minutes from thousands of acres of state land for hunting or hiking. The Meijer Pine Trail offers miles of groomed trails for biking, snowmobiling, or walking. All the entertainment of downtown Cadillac is just a few minutes away.
