About this property

Farmstead Haven - River Views, Sauna

Wake to fresh air, greenery and river views. Unwind in the outdoor sauna, greet the farm animals, pick seasonal fruit, or curl up in the cozy reading nook. Tucked into a private 80-acre family homestead, GreenHouse offers a true country reset—where comfort and nature come together in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge.

Fresh, elegant and simple, GreenHouse has abundant natural light, real wood floors, and inviting spaces to gather or retreat. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen makes cooking a pleasure. A custom reading nook brims with books and games.

Two of the three bedrooms (one with a dedicated workspace) open directly onto a generous deck with river views. A covered patio offers easy access to the backyard and surrounding land. Outside, enjoy grilling, dining, and relaxing in peaceful, open-air settings.

Explore a working homestead with farm animals, forests, meadows, and rustic trails. Depending on the season, you may find fresh flowers, garlic, honey, eggs, or baked goods. We’re also happy to share by-request offerings such as fresh bread, bodywork, childcare, land tours, or intimate micro-weddings.

The Gorge offers it all—waterfalls, forest hikes, swimming, paddling, wind sports, snow play, hot springs, wildflowers, and a rich mix of restaurants, breweries, wineries, bookstores, museums and more.

Just one easy mile from the small town of Stevenson, GreenHouse is a perfect basecamp—or a place to slow down and savor staying put.

Why they chose this property

I was lucky enough to grow up here! My family has stewarded this homestead for three generations (that means we've pulled a lot of blackberries!!:)). Now I am raising my own daughter here. We value the opportunity to live closely with nature and animals.

What makes this property unique

We are snuggled into an idyllic canyon valley overlooking the Columbia River, with a cast of beloved animals: horses, sheep, cats, chickens, farm dogs.... Our homestead is private and peaceful, but we are also close enough to stroll into town and grab fish tacos from our favorite taco cart. We love having the best of both worlds, with the entire Columbia River Gorge at our fingertips!
