Barndo Base Camp at Little Big Ranch minutes from Glacier! Privacy & Great Views

Welcome to the "barndominium" on our acreage in Columbia Falls! The barndominium sits on the Big Little Ranch, a beautiful property and offers a cozy bedroom, a bathroom, and essential amenities like a full kitchen, washing machine, zone heating, and super fast Starlink WiFi. You will have the whole property to yourselves! Guests can relax in this amazing space and outside enjoy the peaceful surroundings with views of the Whitefish Range and Glacier Park. We know you'll enjoy your stay, with horses nearby but no nearby neighbors! The ranch is about a 15 - 20 minute drive to Glacier National Park, at the West Glacier entrance, and about a 12 minute drive to Whitefish. For pets, we allow one dog for an additional $75 fee. There are horses next-door, so your pooch must be on a leash while outside. Experience the Montana lifestyle at this awesome escape situated on 5 acres of beautiful land we call the Little Big Ranch, with sweeping views of the Whitefish Range. Our new barndominium built in 2025 is located just 15-20 minutes from the West Glacier entrance. Glacier Base Camp is a great place to launch your adventure while visiting NW Montana. There are many fun things to do here! After a great day of exploring the park, come home to privacy & elbow room on this little piece of paradise!

Love this place. Steve was a great host. There are numerous animals surrounding this area and my wife loves to watch them. The place is well organized and is perfect for a long stay.

Convenient location to the town and the park! There are many deers visiting the property and you get to wake up to a view overlooking the mountains. It’s clean and very cozy with all the amenities you can find in a home! I’m recommending friends who are visiting Glacier National Park to stay at this property.

This is an incredible property - wish we could live here!! Steve was very communicative and responsive. The barndominium was absolutely as described, roomy, comfortable, and homey…the easiest five-star review I could ever give. We sat outside and watched deer cross the field while the sun went down, and watched a flock of turkeys wander the yard in the morning. Close to everything yet secluded, it was the ideal location for a Glacier National getaway…would definitely go back.

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings.

We enjoyed our stay at this new barndominium. It was a first for us to stay in a place that was not only new, clean and supplied with everything we needed, it was hidden away for our privacy, yet had beautiful views in every direction. We saw wildlife in the meadow and around the trees near our door. The host was quick to supply any need or answer questions. We recommend it as a great place to stay!
A beautiful pheasant greeting us in the morning only a few yards away on our walk.

Little Piece of Heaven

It was absolutely perfect! The barndominium is nestled on 5 acres of land in the most breathtaking setting. Deer graze daily on the property. Most evenings we sat outside, watched wildlife, grilled and ate dinner on the picnic table. The place was so clean, had all the amenities, everything you need to cook if you desire. It was so peaceful, relaxing, close to towns, hiking and exploring. Enjoy your stay!
Grill and picnic table are under the carport that has a nice breeze
Horses near by, watched hawks hunt in the pasture, and a fox too
Two chairs with ottomans are available for relaxing and taking in the views
Lovely place! You will not be disappointed.

Wanted to leave immediately, but got over it. Just super uncomfortable with there being zero window covers except in the bedroom. Privacy is mentioned in the listing, but I felt like I was in a fishbowl even though it's in the back 40. The other negative was the couch/TV placement. The small tv is way up in a corner while the couch faces the kitchen. Suggest moving the TV over the table and putting a 2 seat recliner facing it. Not everyone is into watching TV on vacation, but it was uncomfortable for us.The good part is that it was very clean and had nice upgrades. Steve was very nice and responsive. It's in a great location for visiting Kalispell, Whitefish and Glacier.
