Lots of photo opps there also!

The Space:
The Sedona tiny house at Twig City Farm.....

1. The Sedona tiny house and Twig City Farm is about fun and having a great life experience."

2. ..........a fun and unique stay in a tiny house in a rural setting? Jays says, "C'mon! You are my kind of guests!"

3. Are we going to book this place to throw a big party? Jay says, "Sorry, but my places are not "party central" meet up places."

4. Pets are welcome but they have to be clean, well groomed, house broken and crated when you are away!"

5. The Sedona is tucked into the back of our Twig City "Impossible Forrest"! Why do we call it the Impossible Forrest? Because you will see huge trees growing up out of boulders and solid rock!

Note about use of very primitive walking trails and use of grounds: “All guests agree to hold host harmless in the event of injury that might be sustained through use of the primitive trails, woods and grounds in general.”

Note: For guests who want to sleep in the loft: The loft sleeping area is accessible by a small wooden ladder that is about 6 feet tall. The loft does not have a rail as of December 7, 2017 and accordingly you need to be advised that your use of the loft is at your own risk as part of this rental contract. It is my plan to install a rail by January 1, 2018. Thanks! Jay

The Sedona is secluded BUT my Twig City property is in a rural - not isolated or remote setting and there are various normal farm and rural sounds you might hear at random times.......you might hear other people, pets, birds and animal wildlife, farm sounds like a tractor running or a chain saw cutting wood, yee-haws, shouts of Go-Vols!, duck hunters off in the distance, boats, thunder, wind chimes, a plane flying overhead and yes random vehicles including an occaisional Harley going down Academy Road. Although rural and zoned agricultural my property is not in an isolated or remote area completely free of other humans, nature and associated noises. I have added this "legalese" to my listings attempting to "accurately reflect" what sounds a guest might hear during a stay. Geeeeeessshh! Thanks! Jay

Guest Access:
Arrive anytime after 3 pm - the key will be waiting! You will have the entire Sedona tiny house all to yourselves! Additionally, you will share access to a 10 acre wooded area with very primitive hiking trails that will take you to the shoreline of Old Hickory Lake among other places. Note: These trails are rough trails. Guests have access to very primitive walking trails but agree to do so at their own risk as a part of the rental contract.

Other Things to Note:
Important Note for Starstruck Farm and Twig City Farm Guests: If you reserve one of my Tiny Houses, Horses Stall Suites, A-Frame Glampers, Tents, Teepees or Pitch-A-Tent Listings please stop and consider that you are reserving a listing located on a farm and in the country. It is not unusual to see an occasional insect or small Tennessee wildlife (including Stuart Little on very rare occasion) during your visit. If this is an issue for you or anyone in your party please do not make a reservation. I am not able to provide a full or partial refund.

Perfection, Comfort, Luxury, Rain and Leaky Roofs: We are “Perfectly Imperfect” and cannot guarantee that you will be in perfect comfort and luxury. Don’t make a reservation if you expect a Hilton type experience. We are not in that business. During heavy rains, there might be a roof leak particularly in teepees and glamping tents. There could be occasional maintenance issues and we will always resolve them in the quickest timeframe possible. We will always do our best but don’t expect perfection please.

Hunting: We do not permit hunting of any type of either property and in fact consider the farms to be Tennessee Wildlife Preserves. However, you could hear occasional gunfire off in the distance because hunting is legal in Tennessee and is an integral part of the Tennessee heritage and culture.

Fireworks and Farm Noises: You are likely to hear typical farm noises during your visit. We also have fireworks periodically throughout the year at Starstruck Farm on holidays and special events.

Reserving a Listing for Others: Although we accept third party reservations, please do not make a reservation for others without first discussing this information with them. Remember that you will be the responsible party and stop to consider that THEY may not have the same desire to visit a rural setting.

After Hours Guest Services: Also, we cannot be responsible for being “on-call” after 6 p.m. for minor guest needs and services. Repair of maintenance issues might not be possible until the following morning. Upon your arrival please inspect your listing inside and outside and let us know then, if something needs to be addressed, rather than late at night. Please arrive before dark to become acclimated and to enjoy the properties.

Thanks again and best wishes!

Jay

Interaction with Guests:
My "guest interaction philosophy" is simple. My helpers and I make every effort to respect your privacy and leave you alone to enjoy your experience here. We know that you do not reserve a beautiful tiny house to be bothered by us. BUT.....should there be anything you need or any issue, we are just a phone call or text away to assist!
Thanks
Jay
